Recently, I have been making sure to drink a coffee or a red bull before sarging. Besides the known energy boost, it also improves mental focus and memory (ie. remembering all of the names you must learn in a night out). This is basically the antithesis of alcohol which is a depressant and only in rare circumstances will it improve your game. Does anyone else have any experiences with this? |

Do whetever you gotta do, man. Red Bull is definitely better than beer, but whatever floats your boat. I'm sure some purists will say stay sober and keep your mind clear and all that. I personnally like the sugar-free Red Bull when I'm out DD'ing for my friends. That or those new sugar free Monsters. When I'm not DD'ing, anything goes! |

Sarging is like poker, only a few people do it well while drunk. A few beers or few red bulls shouldn't make too huge of a difference in one's game. I have noticed, however, that people who exercise a lot naturally exude that energy that is so coveted by PUA's. I'm might try only drinking red bull one night, and no booze. Sounds like fun! |

If your going to a club and you plan on dancing with some women a bit then ya have a red bull or a drink. I do it sometimes, go on the dance floor, just act really spontanious, dance with a bunch of ladies at a time and then try to pick them Lately though I started to just go out with out any drinks and it still works. IMO its not hard to remember a couple of names |

Personally when I drink an energy drink I get hyper to the point where I just say whatevers on my mind without thinking about it, this helps because it gives off a false vibe of confidence that I dont have all the time yet but im getting there. |

I've been trying to substitute energy drinks for liquor when I go out, but I've been getting the old 'why aren't you drinking alcohol?'. In the end, it always seems to come down to drinking beer. P.S. I found ginkgo is also good for energy and focused. I even use it at work. |

I am definitely one that is all for having a few drinks and getting my dance on. It may actually help remove inhibitions in this case. But for TIGHT GAME, your mind has to be sharp. Since I've been avoiding (or limiting) alcohol in clubs, very few people have asked what I am drinking. If they ask, I just reply :"I didnt want to drink tonight". Strong frame=no big deal. |
