Go to the hot sauce and fing the packets that say "make a wish" and "marry me?". Find a girl you like and look at her or wistle.(just get her attention) Throw the "Make a wish" packet at her and smile. Walk up to her and say, "Your wish is granted" and hand her the "Will you marry me?" packet and smile. |

Ok, the make a wish packet sounds good but isn't the will you marry me one taking the opener a little far. I mean just walking up to her and saying your wish is granted is a good display of CF and all I just dont think the Marry me packet is needed. |

Not sure I like it. Tyler Durden does the same "Will you marry me?" shtick and thinks he's clever. All it does is demonstrate lower value. Even if done in a joking fashion. She has to know that YOU are the catch here, not her. Don't show interest until she shows it first (through IOI, SOI, etc). Never act thrown off by a girls beauty, and directly showing interest shows either lack of options in women or over-interest in her. You always have to leave the impression that you've seen, and have had success with, hotter women than her. She must feel like she is chasing you. This is why it's so crucial to make your approach seem casual and give no evidence of it being a pick-up attempt. Remember, one of the key attraction switches is demonstrating a lack of desperation. Nice try, though Waffle. Creative. Keep coming up with new material. - June |

"Marry me?" to a person that doesn't even earn it? I don't think so... |

it is an amazing opner, i mean if you do it with a huge smile and DONT do it to your target. Get down on one knee and make it a HUGE deal, just totaly overboard and it will work!! |

Think that it is just to much for an opener.. a simple hi or a question will do better, and you wouldn't look as wierd as if you did this opener. |

This is golden. And all you jackasses saying that this won't work are doing something wrong, it should be delivered as fucking joke! If you hand it with a serious face, it might still make her laugh, otherwise you will C&B.

I'm with most people on here...the marriage was a little to far for the opener. Now, I like to tease the girl and say that we are 'together' or 'married' but that is when we are well past the opener. And I only do that so I can set up the take-away later. Maybe I'm wrong for even doing that? Anyone wanna help me on that? |

I wouldn't kid about being "together", but if someone asks, I would only throw a playful comment with a serious voice like "We are married." (Its funny at my age because I'm still in highschool and people aren't married here...)

Depends on how long and how well you and the target are familiar with each other to even start joking about the "marriage". Past experience, a girl I was seeing for about 3-4 months joked about me and her getting married and moving somewhere in the globe. My thoughts: "Bitch I will leave you as quickly as possible if you say somethin like that again." Well if one of her friends joke about it then its ok. If you do go around joking about it, it better be sarcastic and very brief. example: "Babe, if we do get married, you'll be cookin, cleanin, and doin the dishes every night until you reach 70, otherwise, you'll be cut off!!" Until you've been dating for about a year. It should never be a serious topic unless you're discussing about your ideal marriage (not with her). |
