I have a job being a caterer for a fancy catering company. We wear tuxedos and pass horderves. At the begining of events we pass drinks and horderves to guests. I am a pua-in-training and my job is to open sets. Sounds great right? Maybe it is. I have no idea what to say other than "horderves?". How would you guys practice your game in these conditions? 2 examples of events we do are weddings and birthday parties. |

Sounds dangerous if you like your job. I would not sarge where I work (ok I have done that over and over but it is a bad idea). That is ok when you are good enough to run game undercover so that nobody realizes it. However, in your job you should not mess up so practice elsewhere until you get your openers working... Thats my advice man... Phoenix |

Youre welcome bro! One thing that helped me in the beginning is that you have to accept that the first 50 sets you open will probably eat you alive. Thats calibrating for you. I opened sets I did not find attractive as well as attractive ones just to get the training. When you do not care about the outcome you game so much better. Choose a place that have a high turnover rate of people so that you do not have to worry about running into the old failed sets over and over again. Hope it helps Phoenix |

Quote: Your not allowed to be social to the people you give drinks? If you are allowed to, def. try to be funny and sociable. You may not get to DHV, per say, but you can learn vital conversational tools. Use tips as a basis for improvement of skills, if you get tips
People always say things to me to get in a social state of mind and I don't know what to say back aside from "oh" or "yea". I thought this was a great place to learn to use and practice social skills.
