Post subject:  Im back - going to need some routines

Hey guys, I used to post some shit over here like 8 months ago and most pf my problems were due to a problem I discovered a while ago - low Testosterone (558 for a 17 year old)
Well, Ive cured that and started doing some approaches and I gotta say the follow up part is impossible. Can anybody link me GOOD routines? That arent autistic like 80% of them.
Just to make a point of how I need better routines I'll detail last nights approach. Was at a mall with 3 friends. Saw a girl sitting on a bench glued to her phone and did rock papers scissors, my friend lost but chickened out so I went anyway. This is how it went:
"Hey, can you answer me a question for a sec"
"Sure"
"Whats better, dogs or cats?"
"Lol what? Dogs."
"In that case...woof woof"
"How old are you?"
"20, lets go for a walk"
"No sorry, im waitig for a friend"
Anyone gimme r00teens pl0x

I hate routines as they are a crutch and eventually you run out of material and come off fake.

What hobbies do you have? - Getting yourself into interesting activities creates talking points

What TV do you watch? Again relatable conversation. Roll off into films, actors, debate about them and lead into films you both like.

Places you've been to, tell real life stories if relevant to the conversation.

You need to have an interesting life and use those things you experience and enjoy in life as conversational topics.

So take up a hobbie you find interesting, attend events you like and build a social circle. Eventually you will have more relatable topics to talk about that relate to you, and most women find that more interesting, as it's authentic and not try hard.

Lame questions like "Do you like cats or dogs" sounds creepy and try hard.

Pick up is not a quick process. The minute you fill your life with interesting things you are into, the easier it will be with women.

All of this, 100%.

Of course being the routine guy is annoying and not a good plan, but it is great to have a plan to entertain a group initially for, say, 30 minutes(a few lines and a story to place in after) because otherwise it'll be dificult.
I'd like to make a system like this:
Go up to girl group.
Say "are you guys talking about me?"
Say this and joke this.
Improvise for the rest of the time.
Because without a system you'll just run out of gas fast as I usually do. I've approached over 300 women mate.

It wasn't your routine that didn't work, it was you not putting in any work. What you did is tell a girl a joke and then asked her to go for a walk. Why would she want to go for a walk with you after you did that routine? No connection was made. You didn't make her curious about you. You didn't do anything to make her see you as attractive. All you did was an icebreaker and didn't follow it up with anything. I'm all for routines as icebreakers but you need to learn how to follow it up to hook her in and that's going to require you to get better with your social skills and not routines.

I get what you're saying, and that's why I asked for some routines for a system.
Also, social skills is not the same as improvisation skill. The first is not looking like a creep while the second is being able to create conversation out of nothing - which is a skill not many people have or will ever have. I can improvise when I know atleast something about someone, but just trying to make conversation out of cold reads seems corny. I did try it for like 10 approaches a while ago but It never did anything for me.
"hmm...with those glasses you look like a doctor/porn star"
"really? LOL"
"yea"
And thats it...then you have to start brainstorming another topic. We all need routines even if you don't want to call it like that - when you approach a girl you don't just say hi and sit there trying to create a vibe, you have atleast 2 follow ups ready.

What you're telling me is that having a normal conversation with a girl while flirting with her seems corny while a routine asking if you are a dog or a cat person is better? Keep in mind, I didn't say anything about cold read. Even using the word improvise implies that you are trying to entertain someone. When you are entertaining, the focus is never on the goal. A smart guy will seduce a woman while she does the work. He'll let her do the talking and he just steers things where he wants them to go. The guy that knows nothing about women will attempt to take the focus off of her and try to hold it on him.

If you are depending on routines, you are depending on getting her approval. If you get her talking, you are in the position of giving approval. Which one is the power position?
