While going out to bars & clubs, who here is peacocking? What do you wear and how effective is it? I'm fairly shy these days and don't really wear anything too crazy. |

Ok, top hat or a cowboy hat I can do. Haha a tiara, maybe. Not sure if I can go out naked just yet lol. I was considering light up glasses especially at the clubs & bars. Met this guy that had them last Saturday and he was getting all sorts of attention from both women and men which is cool but I guess I have to work up to handling all that attention. Yeah I'll start off with a hat and go from there. Thanks for the tip guys. |

I think peacocking (like negs, unlike NLP) has its place and has been taken SO far in the wrong direction. Don't turn up with goggles and a fedora, but don't be scared to wear a couple bracelets or a funky colour jacket or something. The problem with peacocking, though, is that it's needy, reaction seeking and a bit of a mask for beginners lacking self confidence. It's like guys think they're not good enough without their fedora making them stand out. It's good if you're just starting, but after a while it gets kind of pointless. Same can be said for pretty much anything Mystery has ever said. |

Outdated and unnecessary man. Just take a good look at that photo of the guys peacocks and ask yourself if those are people you would want to hang out with. |
