Post subject:  Who should I choose?
Hi guys, I am quite new to this pick-up artist stuff. I have read the Game and currently reading Mystery Method. The Game was a book which I got for X-mas by my brother and I sort of started to be interested in this topic, so I found a way to this forum. I am not only interested in girls, but I do enjoy psychology of people in general.

Anyway, like a lot of beginners I do have this problem with approach. Sometimes I do not have a problem with approaching a girl and sometimes I am succesful, but then I started to have this problem. I can't choose the girl. I know it is just an excuse for not approaching, but I do not know what I am supposed to do. These excuses are following:

- she is not beautiful enought to start the game (probably laziness and fear of rejection by a woman who I do not find so attractive)
- she is acting weird
- she is acting like she has a boyfriend.

Well, I know that those are all excuses, but the problem is that I do not know, how to get rid of them. I know that I should approach almost all the girls and not to choose the girl, which is perfect. At least, in the beginning, I kind of need something which makes me go for even the average girls.

By the way, I am quite good-looking. Girls do not fall for me instantly, but I do have the look, which is Ok when approach is good.

Well, at least you know they are excuses.

Now that you know, next time you find making yourself excuses, use that as a trigger to approach because you know for a fact you're attracted to her/them.

If you can not do that, you simply just have to overcome approach anxiety like the rest of us.

A great way to approach is to give a friend $100 and get him to promise to keep itif you do not approach x amount of girls that night

You miss 100% of the shots you don't take. Get it done, stop fucking about before you get too old and have regret.

I guess, I have to try more approaches and the money is a great motivation. I suppose that if I work on approaches and on the whole game in the field, I will no more be afraid of rejection and my body and brain wouldn't be so defensive.

i would suggest practicing every night warming up

not sure how busy of places you go to but set a high goal.

when i go out i approach about 25-50 sets in an hour
just saying anything and get her to respond - my only goal, then i move on
i use a click counter app to track how many girls i opened in that hour
after i'm done with the 25-50, whatever goal i set then then i find the friendliness/coolest people and STAY IN SET till i can pull or she tells me to fuck off

no money involved. that whole $100 trick never works because it can get expensive and people quit playing because they dont want to lose money lol

Well, I guess it works different for everyone. Actually for me the money or going with friend in general may actually help me, because I am usually more motivated to show my skills in front of others.

I gotta try something I have never tried before. I should go to a bar or disco or somewhere else like mall just to pick up girls and set a goal (number of girls I must approach). I kind of think with picking up girls it is quite similar to working out. At first you are glad that you go working out with your friend, but then you should be able to go on your own as well. I have always found weird to go to parties or public places alone, as I did not find it comfortable. Now my goal is to go to a club, disco or a bar just by myself and actually try to pick-up some girls.

Im kinda the same way... picky about what girls I approach. But practice makes perfect so I know if I dont see any girls my type around I will approach ones that I think are ok for the experience alone. That way my skills are on point when I see the ones Im really attracted to.

This is actually great. Next time I am out to pick up girls, I'll do exactly that.
