Generally when there's a group of two girls waiting for someone, I sometimes say hey thanks for waiting for me I'm looking for openers in a restaraunt or public settings Thanks |

The best opener always depends on the particular situation. In most cases asking for a piece of advice works fine, provided you approach them with a welcoming smile on your face. Further conversation is usually not a big deal if they are in the mood for meeting new people.
