This exercise has done wonders for me. Let me know how it works for you.

Are you familiar with the common themes of 'embrace rejection' and 'it's not that bad, really'? Well, I have decided to take them to an extreme.

Approach the set. Say 'hi, I have a really weird request'. Add a pause.
'I want you to imagine I'm hitting on you, and I want you to reject me in the most terrible way you can come up with'.

They will usually giggle for a few moments until coming up with ideas. Wait for a response. Thank them and eject.

This makes rejection seem like the game that it is. It's not meant to harm you. It's humorous, it's fun. Enjoy.

I can understand the thinking behind it, but isn't this a tad excessive? If you learn to desensitize the standard way, you at least get to practice some openers, no?

Actually I think this is a fantastic opener. It puts the women on the spot to come up with something original which you can then be playful about...

"You can do better than that!"

or you can pretend to take it too hard...

"I'm gonna go over there and cry... you guys are mean."

you can even transition this into talking about how most guys are afraid of approaching women, a topic we all know quite a bit about.

Not only is this a fun exercise, but it's actually a great opener that gives us plenty to work off of to extend the conversation.

I am going to field test this next time I head out sarging.

Wow I really like that, it is a great opener. I could see myself using this just for fun, but also seeing this work.

Lol, if delivered well that's a solid opener as well as help in subduing AA -- however, it would be easy to mess it up and make it sound really pathetic and creepy. -shrugs-

Holy shit, that's sort of genius, it's like if you lose, you win! I can't think of any other opener like that.

But then again, if you tell her to just instantly reject you, then isn't it only an opener then that's it? No practicing shit tests or conversations?

Well, in a way, the opener itself results in a sort of shit test. The way you handle the rejections shows the girls that you're a confident guy who doesn't let negative comments affect him.

Yeah, I change my mind: this is a good idea.

Well, actually Style tried this when he was on training.

Dont over-use it, because;

a) You could kill it

b) It is not going to work forever

When you use this "opener" and they actually reject you...the fall is going to be as painful...or even a little more, than any other thing you might be using.

There is a fine line between being a cool guy and being a weirdo, this kinf of stuff apper to the girls more as the second one. This kind of stuff, works like "excercises", gets you familiar with the feel of the aproach, and makes aproach anxiety less of a big deal mentally.

You cant get rid of AA....even the best of the PUAs feel it. You can only feel used to it. Mystery use to say that if you were going to jump of a plane in a parachute, what would you prefer? to be confident? or to be competent?

Is better to feel a little fear, but to know how to do it, than to feel no fear, but not knowing what to do.

try going up to a random woman and saying:

" Hi! I'm larry the martian! Whats your favorite color bowling ball?"

it sounds silly i know, but
this is a good way to boost confidence and get used to the feeling of rejection so that in the field it wont get to your head.

That's an absolute belter of an opener. (The original post that is) > i'll be trying that one out tomorrow.

Goal: get 50 HB's to 'reject' me.

This is amazing. I've got more social and rejection problems than a Jewboy. Guess it doesn't help that I am a Jewboy... thank you, mother...

As an opener, maybe, but definitely a good way to help me crush AA. I'm getting some awkward friends to help me, too, just randomly storming girls to get rejected.

My most terrifying difficulty isn't rejection, but failure - that she'll know I faield and hold it against me (even though she'll never, ever, see me again)

thats got to be the best opener I've ever seen. it doesn't require much confidence.. and theres a lot of room for variation..
