It's still a neg. That's merely one way that a neg can present itself. If a girl says she's gonna go have a smoke, you can say, "Alright, come find me when you're done Smokey. 
" It's a neg, cause it makes her feel self conscious about her smoking and how it makes you feel about her, but it has nothing that raises her up.As for the neg, I can only see it working if you're in a situation where the girl has a massive spread in front of her, like maybe a buffet table, or if she is sitting at a table with like 3 meals and they're her friend's food, but they're not there.
