So im an EMT and i get to scoop up patient across several hospitals so naturally i get to see alot of nurses. Two of them really have my eye. There is this redhead who looks super cute and this blonde that always smiles at me. I say hi to the redhead all the time, i just need to go in direct with her and see whats up. The blonde girl i already went in direct with saying how cute she was and that i wanted to know everything about her. I didn't see her too often at the time and she said that she had a "thing" with someone else. No biggie right. But turns out i get to see her all the time now (like 2-3x a week) so i am interested in asking her out again or getting her number. She said she had thing with someone else but wtf does that mean.

I get to talk to her every so often and she smiles and laughs at my jokes. She knows i think she is cute. How should i ask her out a second time? Is it even worth it?

Also do you believe going direct is the best way to go in an SPAM where everyone always seems busy?

I would go direct if I didnt have time to go indirect. She is a coworker. I would never go direct on a coworker. Be careful of pushing too hard. She can file a complaint. My roommate banged his coworker by causally flirting with her then having the whole crew go out for drinks together. He is a nurse. It's better to escalate outside the work place, but I wouldn't say it is worth it in general.

Just start a conversation and be a little flirty and see where it goes.

This isn't the girl for you. She smiles and laughs at your jokes b/c she's paid to try to be friendly to people. Maybe she's just the friendly type. Your job status is a few levels below that of (I guess an emergency room RN?) What does she have to lose by being friendly with a guy who busts his ass for a low wage and crappy hours to help keep her in business? Friendly doesn't mean like or interested.

You're way over thinking this one. Neither are interested and you showed way too much interest
