Ok, so on Sunday I went out. Effectively by accident I ended up with 3 girls and 2 guys I'd never really met at the end of the night. One of those girls has a bf, one is apparently interested in someone else and impressionably mute (Didn't even say hi to me when I joined them, that stung ) We walked those two home. They aren't the reason for this post. The other one is. Ended up walking for about 45 mins with the 2 guys and her to get something to eat (4am bank holiday sunday, not many places open.) We were all fairly blasted, so I'm at my chattiest. She seemed to linger back to talk to me a little more than the other two, friends of hers. Since then, we've chatted a little on facebook. I've asked if she wants to come out for a few drinks on Friday night, I'll be out anyway. And I said mentioned that I'd noticed her around where I work a few times. Apparently that classes as "sweet" (Argh, not this direction again...) If she comes out, or even if she doesn't, any suggestions anyone can offer me?

Impress her with your manliness. Get smashed, fistpump and quote Jersey Shore. Don't forget to smack her ass at least three times every ten minutes. Chicks love that shit. Seriously, if she goes out to meet you she wants to be around you and if she's going out to drink with you she's probably open to at least kissing you by the end of the night. Just because she said something was cute or adorable doesn't mean you've been zoned, it just means you made her smile. From there you can either be zoned or be the guy she'll be thinking of all the time. If you want to be the guy she thinks about and wants escalate with kino, lead to more intimate kino and let her know you're interested. Let her know that if the opportunity arises you'll grab it and not be a bitch about kissing her. Don't overplay the friendly kino crap, keep that to a minimum. When you see her smile at her, give her a hug and a kiss on the cheek then look back and comment on her dress/top/jacket and how it matches her eyes. As you're doing that just touch the sides of her clothing while saying it's a really nice dress/top/jacket and she pulls it off well. There, you've just set the bar for physical interaction with her. Later on in the night you can ask her to go to the beer garden with you to "see something." then hold her hand as you move and test to see if she tightens her grip when you loosen yours. Richard La Ruina mentions it's a big IOI if they tighten their grip on you but I don't think it really matters once you're leading them around the club/pub by the hand and creating that physical attraction. The biggest IOD they could give you is if they're hesitant or awkward when you take them by the hand but if she likes you she'll be happy to be lead by you. Oh, another thing that will go a long way: If you're going to a club with a VIP area -- I don't know how it works elsewhere -- just ask the bouncers for a VIP stamp. They won't be dicks and shut you down on front of your lady friend unless it's literally for superstars and shit like that.

You're doing it right, just keep her interested and keep her smiling. Don't go into any deep topics with her until you kiss her at least. Because if you play therapist from the beginning, you'll be zoned in no time. I'm saying this because she seems to trust you by lingering around you and giving you attention, and this might develop to TOO much trust and she might start giving you her problems. Go out for a drink with her, lead her from the door (just put your hand behind your back and walk, if she grabs it, you're on to Kino inside). That's a trick I always use and works most of the time.
