I can never think of anything to say, ever, can you give me a few examples, my shit ones so far after my rabbit stunned in the headlights are hows it going, you look nice (uurgh), who you out with (what the fuck) LOL I need help, first sentence, I presume a compliment is an idea?? But I honestly freeze, I must be doing someit right cos they always come over and seem fine, if only I could be more whitty or charming... damn |

I freeze too in those similar situations, you must be around my young age. Anyways if she has giving you tremendous IOI's it should be relatively easy for your openers and you should already be in A2 showing DHV by telling a story etc. But for your initial conversation starter anything goes I presume except paying immediate compliments like "What is your name" that gets old. |

This forum has a big section called "Openers, Storytelling and Conversational Skills" where you can find lots of suggestions. If she has given you some IOI's (eye contact, smile, etc.) a simple "How are you" should be enought to open. Never start with a compliment and make her ask your name first. (IOI) |
