Post subject:  Approach at running club

Hey guys,

Im a total newbie to all this and I really need an advice. I recently joined a local running club (3 weeks ago, been running for a year and a half) and made some male friends (always found it easier to talk to guys). There are actually more women than men, but I havent really talked to any of them. I want to change this, coz there is one girl I kinda like.

So she is pretty (8/10), seems talkative, most of the time she just chats with other girls and is one year older than me. Do you have any experience in similiar scenarios. How should I approach/open? Is running club a good place for picking up?

Thanks in advance.

Any place is suitable for pickup. (Except funerals maybe)

I don't have experience in such a situation, but I'd just start talking to her. Let things develop, act natural.

Man!!! where do you live?
that's my dream I'm a runner and here there are 3 running clubs:
1 of semi professional runners 6 guys and 1 girl,
and 2 other clubs where everybody is over 50 years old.

Anyway a polite person just greets everybody in the group, guys and girls there you have your approach.

And my experience if you want to move things forward move your conversations towards something completely different than running: tv shows, movies, music, annoying boss at work, whatever just not running.

I would just be very normal and natural. Ask her how long she's been running, with the group, maybe if she's training for something, etc. Ask her questions about her, but don't be afraid to volunteer some information about yourself as well. The more you can just be casual, the better. Perhaps after a few conversations you can ask her if she'd like to go for a run sometime with you. Since you two obviously have a common interest, you have a lot you can build on.
