Another quick question... I am very shy, and get nervous when approaching girls. I find that a few drinks help to ease the nerves - not completely drunk, but "buzzing" Is it OK to make approaches when "tipsy" or not? I'm assuming its best to be completely sober and just act yourself, but having a couple of drinks does make it much easier! Is this accepted PUA behavior, or should I I stop all together? |

Try going out sober for ten nights, then another ten with drinks. See if you notice a difference. It's not a bad thing in itself to be a little tipsy. It's just that under normal conditions, when you're out on the street and you see this HB you wanna approach, you'll be missing the 'alcohol' element of your game. So don't rely on it too heavily - be honest with yourself. I do magic, and the tiniest sip of alcohol makes me go sloppy, so I go dry on all nights. Plus, you save money if you get a coke instead of a beer. |

There is no truer statement.I enjoy having a drink or two, but it is true that your game does suffer when intoxicated, even with the smallest amount of booze. Me? I generally stick to max 1 drink every 1.5 hours. Personally, if I drink anymore, I don't enjoy it. For every drink that you consume, 20% of the alcohol crosses the gastric lining and travels to your brain within 1 minute of consumption. So, my presumption is that within 60 seconds of sipping on your drink, you are already at a disadvantage when it comes to quick thinking and witty retorts. Conclusion, drinking fucks up your game. If you are going to have a drink, do it socially and slowly, don't drink to wash away your fears, it doesn't work. Trust me, I've tried it. |

It's better to approach a girl sober just for the plain and simple facts you've got your head on strait. You can approach drunk, and nobody's going to care really. You can do it and be fairly successful, but I think you should try it somewhat sober. Not all girls a tipping a ton of drinks back in the bar so you risk making yourself look silly. It's honestly a personal decision you have to make.
