I've heard that PUA magic tricks are great ice breakers. Are there any guides out there on learning PUA tricks? |

I am very new at this, so forgive my lack of knowledge when it comes to Pickup artistry. I've been a professional card expert for over 10 years, and while playing cards are my specialty; I do dabble in other magic/techniques. Simple rules I would assume include tricks that involve not only the target, but the targets' friends (indirect). If the target becomes a spectator, rather than you're assistant; she will get to see you in action rather than being the center of the trick (which can be a lot of pressure). I would suggest learning two or three (TOPS) great tricks, and then focus purely on presentation. With scripting, your patter can completely change the effect. I had to learn this the hard way, because I live in a small town where my business comes from word of mouth. So usually when I go to a new gig, there are several people I've performed for in the past. As they all are in the same social circle. So being able to do a great trick with different presentation = new trick... Ultimately you want to bait the target, leave an impression that makes her want you. Whether it's to have sex, see another trick, make her roommate disappear...etc Even if she just wants to be friends, girls make great wings. Use it to your advantage. Pretty soon you'll be the amazing guy she introduces to all her single girlfriends. A few tricks I would recommend for this to play with: French Kiss by Wayne Houchin Biddle Trick by Paul Cummins 2 card monte by various people These will get you good participation, very easy/intermediate sleight of hand so you can focus more on presentation. And they're amazing to see. I actually modified French Kiss to include phone numbers, so we end up exchanging numbers which works as a great advertisement or if the target likes you, onto mid-game.
