Yesterday, I watched a boy, gaming a girl in the bus. He wasn't bad, but he had serious problems building attraction, heading directly towards the friendship zone. She liked talking to him, but she didn't want to go on an instant date or give him her number. I often thought about finding a different strategy when gaming one-sets. For me it is quite difficult to find methods to open and build attraction. Most openers are designed for opening groups, and negging could be nearly impossible when talking to a single girl. Building attraction is different in this case. I hope that we can share our experience here, to find a good method for this special case. |

I can't really say I have a method for it per say, but here is something that I have noticed. Perhaps some of you other gentleman or ladies have noticed this as well. Seems like when she's alone I don't typically have to use as many negs. Perhaps because she isn't around her peers she doesn't have to put for such a strong image because no one is really there to judge her immediate actions. Also, when you are in A2 Female to Male attraction you can't really just ignore her but what I do is use touches of IOD body language so I don't come across as too needy. As I enter into A3 Male to Female attract I think is the biggest step when you "Bait Hook Release." I think this is the critical step into getting the attraction you need. Anyone else feel this way? |

Okay, when a girl is alone and it's daygame... direct approach is the best way to go. This is what the guys at Pickup 101 say (and I consider them the experts on simple, effective, honest daygame.) During daygame, you don't need an opener. You want a situationally relevant pre-banter. You can't go up to a girl at a busstop and say "who lies more?" You'll freak her out. You just want to break into her day, say "Hey, do you know where the nearest Starbucks is? Just kidding, I just wanted to come flirt with you." You're looking for the smile. Small banter is good, then you transition right into Vibing. Talk about your day, honest, socially relevant topic, trying to relate on a wide rapport level. Then, you go right into deeper rapport. Think about fishing for things that you can connect with her on. You're throwing out topics to find things that drive her and connect the two of you. Keep on throwing out until the fish bites, then when it happens, you can take that hook and go into deeper rapport. You have to do it with a smile, and a dash of charm. Negs are probably not the way to go, unless she's giving you a bitch shield (but this usually doesn't happen when she's alone, and if you neg a girl during the day... it needs to be light and funny.) When you meet people at nighttime venues, they've got their "going out" face on. So do you. During the day, the "going out" face is on break, and it's the girl you're opening. Keep that in mind. Also, if you want some more perspective... in my opinion... the expert to look up is Dan Mangano at pickup 101. |

Thanks for your special view. For me, this method seems to base on instant rapport seeking without building attraction first. If the guys from Pickup 101 use that method, then it should somehow work. How do they avoid reaching the friendship zone instantly. If you show your intentions to avoid that, this would be interpreted as needy behaviour. It will be difficult to find the balance. |
