This isn't a question. This is just me trying to share some new insights.
I suppose everyone has heard that "you should break rapport" with a girl... Right? But have you ever heard or read how you are supposed to get this rapport in the first place? I haven't. Which do you think is the hardest, to break rapport, or to create it? Breaking it is easy, you just have to be impolite or do something stupid.
Personally, I have been stupid all my life, wondering why people don't like me, no matter how polite I am, how much I smile and what not. Until now. Until I read this book called "The art of reading minds" by Henrik Fexeus: http://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/inn ... ding-minds

It is in fact very simple. All you need to do is to try to match that other person as much as possible, without him or her noticing. Match her body language, match her tempo, match the pitch and the strength of her voice, match her vocabulary etc. But be discrete. It is easier while she is talking about herself, in which case she probably won't notice anything.
You don't have to follow every movement she does exactly, as long as you are consistent. Follow her "just enough". You don't need to do it at the same time either, since it will be too obvious. You can wait 30 seconds before executing the same "move" as her.
What does this do? It gives her the impression that you are like her. And what kind of people do we like the most? People who are like us! Isn't it obvious when you think about it? It is spot on!
