Post subject:  How can I improve the "Why are girls are so picky" opener?

I was at the mall a few hours ago and went to H&M. The cashier confirming my orders was probably an 8.5. (Are you supposed to rate only with whole numbers???)

I opened her by saying, "Why are girls so picky?" Of course, I delivered it with a mischievous, playful smile and controlled my tone of voice, to which she responded, "Uhhh, I don't know." Her co worker heard me say the question and responded, "Maybe because we were born that way?" Then, the 8.5 said, "Maybe because we're not rude?" I thought her remark was implied towards me, but IDGAF and lightly laughed her off. I later said, "Thanks for taking care of me" and bounced.

How was the opener? Was it good enough? Strong enough? How should it be improved, or should it be entirely discarded? And how well did I handle her remark?

did you even handle her remark? you're post basically is like...

I walked up and was like, why are girls picky? then they were like... born that way, then other girl was like maybe cause we're not rude

then I said, ''thanks for taking care of me'' and walked away....

so, did you get what you wanted out of that situation?
what was your objective of that situation? did you meet your objective?

I don't think you want to open with this.
When you start of negative (you're complaining), the convo will most likely have a negative frame.
If a girl is negative towards me I walk away cause I don't want to handle and talk about her shitty life and all the complaints she has about it.

Edit: If you use MM, let me use it this way: Its a DLV.

I did open. As to what I wanted: nothing; I was just trying to get rid of AA. I'm asking if the opener was strong enough because would it also generate strong responses? I've only used it once, so I can't get consistent results just yet.

I'd always think that if you're delivery is excellent, then it doesn't matter what you're going to say, no matter how outrageous the words are going to be.

So if this opener is a no-go, then I'll scrap it.
