Here's the thing about "boyfriends" 1. They can either be real or fake. (Meaning she could really have a boyfriend or she might not have one and she might just be saying it to have 'plausible deniability' in case you try to get her number or escalate). 2. If the boyfriend is real and she tells you about him, the boyfriend is either nearby or she's giving you an IOD. 3. If the boyfriend is fake and she tells you about him, she is either not interested in you or she is giving you a shit-test. With any of these scenarios it is important to answer her back with humor. The advice given earlier in this thread was generally good advice. Humor does two things: It lets her know that you are socially equipped enough to handle the fact that she has a boyfriend. It also tells her that you don't need her approval. One of my favorite ways to address the "boyfriend" if she keeps bringing him up is "I totally want to meet your boyfriend and steal him away from you... We both know I could totally make him a happier guy." This is a neg but for the most part it works. One more thing about "boyfriends." If the "boyfriend" topic comes up... you need to take the conversation back to the attraction phase and re-game from there. In my opinion, if a girl is really attracted to you, she'll never mention a boyfriend. In fact, many of them will hide the fact. There have been more than a few times where I've slept with women only to find out after the sex that they had a boyfriend or even a husband. Women will generally do what they want to if they have the opportunity. If they are attracted to you, you generally won't get the boyfriend bit. If you do get the boyfriend bit... go right back to the attraction phase. |

You know, we always here these funny retorts to the boyfriend thing, but in reality there are more practical ways to handle it. On Friday my wing opened this smokin' hot red head standing by herself outside a gallery. She quickly mentioned that her boyfriend was inside and she was waiting for him. My dude didn't even blink, he just kept going with the conversation and even started talking about the boyfriend like he wanted to meet him or something! That took such balls, because imagine if the bf walked out and saw two pua's talking to his girl at that moment! There was obviously no chance in hell anyone was going to number close that girl with her bf being a few feet away, but we still had fun talking to her and shared some laughs and increased our social value to all those observing us. Everybody won there, particularly her boyfriend who gets to go home and bang her hot ass at night. |
