Well, me and a friend go to best buy (I know, great place to pick up girls...) A female employee approaches me and asks if I need any help? I say yes, I needed help finding a specific game. So, we both start looking and I start talking to her a little, shes giggling and laughing were both having a decent time. A little while later she finds the game for me I thank her. Then I pull the greatest line of them all! I say, There is one more thing I need your help with? I need you to help me acquire your number. (Thats what I said...hah) She then giggles at the bad pickup line and gives me her number. I was honestly hoping to just get out of there but my friend decided to take his time and we got stuck there for a little longer... I decided since im still there I will go talk to her a little more. I noticed a complete change in body language, she wasn't looking at me, she was looking down and not facing my anymore and not laughing much. She was talking but her body language just completely shifted from friendly and outgoing to shy and low. Why do you guys think that is? I also deleted her number because I dont want to invest time into someone that was leaving to college anyway... |

You probably should've just left it after you got her number and called/texted her later. Also, if you had the balls to ask for her number, you might have just been better off asking when she gets off work. It's likely that she was just shy or a little embarrassed by the attention you were giving her. Also you have to remember that she probably isn't meant to be giving her number out to customers in the shop so she wouldn't want her manager to know about it. |

Haha. Nice "pickup line" After you got her number i would have got away from here or her section. Then i would have texted her asking her what she was up to later on since its obvious she is leaving for school soon and you or her dont want to invest to much time in building something. The reason her body language may have changed is because she was at WORK. haha It was obvious you were interested in her and she was probably worried about her manager coming around or etc and it being embarrassing for her. Should have got the number and rolled out. I would have hit her up to see what i could have made of it. Sluggler |

Its best to leave after you get the number. As a rule, once you have the number you should get away from her. However, if you're smooth enough you can keep it going. I had a similar situation happen to me where I got a number at a house party because I thought I was leaving, then I ended up stuck because my friends were slow. I avoided the girl for a while, but eventually I ended up talking to her again. I told her I was going to a bar with my friends and she should come with her friends. She wanted to go but her friends turned it down. After that I avoided her again until we left the party. I texted her a few days later and everything was fine. |

I also deleted her number because I dont want to invest time into someone that was leaving to college anyway..." Huge waste of time, I met quite a few cute girls resent who were going back to college up north. Best to get number and FTC[leave] no point in looking stupid. |

Getting a number that fast is most likely gonna end up in a flake. I never end it after getting the number. I stick around a lil bit, discuss, then do my thang. I woulda hit that still. |

Its perfect practice, and I dont really want to invest time in her. Im glad to know it wasent me though, I thought I did a pretty decent job holding my composure. I did have one minor slip up but thats an easy fix. |
