Hey so I thought of an opener that's been on my mind for a little while. I'm going to field test it ASAP. It goes like this: me: "Hey, quick question, I need a female opinion on something." hb: "Sure, sup?" me: "So, I'm going on a date later tonight, and I need to know. Do I look better with my hat on? or hat off?" hb: "ohhh well i think blahh lahhh because blahhh blahhhh" after building attraction, raport, comfort etc. towards the end of the convo i'll go "so about my date, just a few more questions.. movie, or dinner? walk in the park or, beach?" random questions.. hb answers questions. me: "great! so what time should i pick you up?" thoughts? |

Its cute..the only thing is I stray away from the "I need a female opinion" part. Women can get hip to the pick up attempt alot faster when you open like that..at least from my experience.. I like to simply start with " Hey! let me ask you something" then you can throw in an FTC to give yourself a time limit then run your routine. You have to try it out most importatnly you though of it! If you use it let us know how it goes. Good luck! |

Looks pretty solid to me. Do you plan on doing this during day game? If so, I don't really have any suggestions. |

My opinion is that it is a very bad opening. You are asking for dating advice to a girl showing how clueless and not comfortable about how you look and your dating life, and then you reveal that it was just a manipulative set up to ask her for a date. Nobody likes to feel manipulated and you are not giving any value to her you are just taking value out of her... Indirect game works as if you did not plan to pick up her, but after listening from her and getting to know her personality you start finding her attractive. It works with the "I did not plan it, it just happened" principle. to make it work I would change your last question to something like: "OMG you are friendly and have almost the same idea of how a perfect date should look like... Would I become a really bad boy if I cancel my date and go out with you instead?" |

That is an awesome critique man. I agree, that is a better way to close. I wouldn't have followed it word for word the way i wrote it, I would make it sound less pick-upy. But I would also hope no one would take any opener and reuse it word for word, when they could (and should) make it their own by changing up the wording. |
