Post subject:  Your Cell Phone is Your Wingman!!!
I was listening to 26 today aka Extramask about using your cell phone as a wingman. As he says when he's on his cell phone he's always demanding saying things like "You can't do that! No, tell him not to do that! No, you can not do that, what are you doing?!?" As he puts it, I am the man on this phone, I am the king of the world!!!

You can use this to open girls as well! Walk up to a set and saying in to your phone "Really, dude no way..." Say to the set, "Get this..." and run your opener. Say to your phone, "Alright I'll call you back I just have to ask these guys!" Your branching off from your wingman and having a conversation.

He goes on to say that it's also good because when you feel uncomfortable in a club or other venue, he'll go to the back of the club, and have an imaginary with himself. That way he doesn't look like the typical AFC by himself.

Agreed if your not at the bar and just out of set straight to the phone. Would b really unlucky to recieve a call whilst holding your phone to ur head allready tho!

but thats what silent is for i guess lol.

I do that all the time, when I'm at the mall. Opening sets just seem easier with the cell phone by my side lol.

It is much easier with your portable wingman with you! The great thing is they don't even have to work. As 26 mentions his doesn't work except to put numbers in. He said when in doubt go to a pawn shop and get one cheap.

I never thought of doing this before, but sometimes if i am alone i use the phone so i dont appear as a billy no mates.

That last post reminded me of something. You when you give them the phone to put their # in. Sometimes (e.g a club) i dont trust them with it. I always get the feeling that they're gonna throw it or try an nick it. Call me paranoid, but its like 'argghhh someone has my phone that is'nt me'! Dont you ever think they might throw it? I think i'll get a cheap one to take out :-S

Phones can also open. I've seen some fellas open with 'Hey, thinking of upgrading my phone - how do you like that one?" with quite a bit of success, particularly as girls love phones.

Just yesterday I opened a girl with an iPhone with "Hey, how do you like the iPhone?" She responded with "its cool" and opened up a bit more when I explained that I actually have the same phone and while I like it also, there are some missing features that seem like blatent oversights.

Proceeded to have a solid chat before realizing that I was in the "Urgent Care" facility of the hospital (yah - tore my calf Monday night - sucks) and weirded myself out wondering what was wrong with her. Lol. Chose to go with the No Close. Still, somthing very hot about a girl wearing club shorts in urgent care - definitely doesn't give a fuck.

Yeah those little things can be very handy. Like you mentioned above if you got something cool like an iphone you can use it as an opener as long as you don't come across as try hard.

And No, I've never had a girl throw my phone or even act like that. If you do put the little brat in her place! :D

You can set your phone to ring via the alarm. Now you will be able to open, get the "call" then talk to your "buddy" . Just a different way to run it.

J- you're going to put me out of business. :)

I use the cell ALL the time, if I'm out by myself.
You can make it provide you with all of the social proof, FTR, Leader of Men, frame play, etc. you want.

However, I gotta admit... nothing beats having a real-life wing there to improvise and augment your game. Plus... how is your cell going to deflect AMOGs? That's what I'm here for ;)

I won't put you out of business. It's great to have a real life wing that can occupy the obstacles giving you more 1 on 1 time with your target. Deflect the AMOGs and help you identify things that you are missing. In a crunch, and wingless the Cell Phone is the way to go. We're not all lucky enough to have a good wing around. When in doubt just call Zip! :wink:
