Post subject:  Teaching my cousin to sarge

I'm currently attempting to help my cousin learn the ropes of becoming a PUA, if not simply passing the level of AFC and getting his first girl (he has failed miserably in the past).

His issues / sticking points are that:

-He is socially awkward with women
-He is very shy and doesn't talk much
-He rarely smiles naturally

I took him to the mall and let him see a bit of day game, simply working basic approaches and letting him see the confidence and ease required when approaching random women in a public place.

He was amazed, and told me that I had opened a new chapter in his life... I'm glad, and really hope that this helps him get over the issues that really irk him.

Please let me know what you would suggest to add for the maximum help to this young man in need... Let me know what to do, I'm really trying to help him here..

Thanks!

First thing first, you need to help him work on his inner game. He needs to become more confident in himself and his abilities. Not an easy task but I recommend having the guy read or listen to David DeAngelo or Tony Robbins. That and get him started on some basic approaches with a simple question like, "What time is it?" Just to help him work on his AA at the same time. Just start slowly with him and he'll come around nicely!

Yeah, the AA is his major sticking point I would say. The awkwardness with women is something derived from that... What Style suggested in his annihilation method is to expose yourself to women and open without expecting to succeed! I personally put on a ridiculus hat and walked down a busy street. I opened/approached every single set in sight and guess what I learned. It is not dangerous to approach. They may laugh at you or be nasty but it doesn´t go worse than that!
