Hey everyone. So as of recently I decided I wanted to work on my game and start meeting more girls and just be more social in general. I started reading the forums near the end of my last semester (mid-April) and honestly became overwhelmed with just how much stuff there was to learn. Pretty quickly though I realized I didn't think I wanted to to use mystery method or anything that was scripted. Pretty much, I just wanted to work on my direct natural game as this is what has worked best for me in the past.
So of course once I came to this realization of what I wanted to do I was completely AFC about it and sat on the forums reading everything I could instead of just going out and meeting girls. I kept saying "today I'm gonna go to the mall and do some approaches" but always found an excuse not to.
Well today I had said that and guess what...I didn't end up going to the mall. I had planned on going around noon as I had work at 4 but found other things to do. I got to work later (I manage a neighborhood pool) and one of the lifeguards pointed out a girl (HB 7 or
and commented on how hot he thought she was and asked if I knew her. I said I didn't and kind of blew it off thinking "oh I'm working so it would be wrong if I went over and talked to her" among other things. Well later he commented again and I thought to myself that this was my chance to redeem my cowardice in not going to the mall all those times. I told myself to man up and started walking towards her. As I was walking over I briefly realized I didn't know what I was gonna say but I brushed off the though and sat down next to her anyways. I ended up directly stating that my friend and I had both been checking her out and arguing about who she was closer to in age, me or him, as I am in college and he is in high school. She proceeded to tell me she had just graduated and we proceeded to talk for a few more minutes before I had to go and start closing the pool. I actually forgot to introduce myself and as I was about to leave she asked what my name was and introduced herself (which I take as a good thing). She said she'd be around again so I'll probably be seeing more of her at some point.Anyways, moral of the story...get off these fucking forums and go approach some girls. I decided that today and sat next to her with full confidence and a friendly smile on my face and everything worked out fine. Stop making excuses and just do it. Granted I do think of myself as a somewhat attractive guy and I am generally pretty social so this does boost my confidence a bit but the fact that I was direct and fully confident helped me tremendously and this was really all I needed to get me through and come off as "attractive".
With all that said, I do need to work on a lot of things like just general flirting and making conversations fun but those will come with experience and I plan on approaching every attractive girl I see from now on so I'm confident I will get better with them. Anyways this was my first post on the forums so I thought it would be fitting for it to be about my first approach. I'll hopefully be on here more to post about small things I learn as I go along the way and to motivate all of you who need motivating! Remember...this should be a fun experience so go out there an have fun with it! Today I did just that and have zero regrets!
