hey guys this is my first official post. really looking for feedback, either good or bad, and whether you feel by putting your own spin on this opener that it would work, better still if using it actually did work for you.

note: aimed to be used at an all girl 2-5 set

You: Hey girls i really need a females opinion on something, mind helping me out?

- gage girls response (enthusiasm in wanting to help)

You: My little sister is turning 18 in 2 weeks, she's so excited bless her, and the first thing she wants to do is run out and get her 19 year old boyfriends name tattooed on her wrist! I mean am i supposed to be ok with that?
everyone remembers their first love, and i know this is hers, but i also know the thought process of a 19 year old lad, it wasn't that long ago i was 19...
Hopefully that doesn't sound to sceptical (hands up at this point as though jokingly surrendering) i just want to protect her from making a mistake she'll have to live with.
I mean i love tattoos they can look awesome, ive got one myself, but a tattoo is something you should never regret. Only time a name tattoo is if it's your kid(s) name(s), thats what i'm waiting for as my next tattoo.
so what do you guys think?

I remember either reading this opener in the game, or seeing on the pickup artist, i've attempted to tweek is slightly by adding in unfinished statements like "it wasn't that long ago i was 19" and "i've got one myself" also by not mentioning names throughout the story. this will hopefully not only enable me to introduce interesting conversation to the group, but also allows me to assess who shows off the most IOI's by enquiring further about my unfinished statements.
further more i feel that the subject of tattoes opens up a chest full of playful negs to choose from.

cheers for reading guys. looking forward to reading your comments.

pretty good man! opinion openers are the shit. The only thing is, chicks love to talk, and you also want them to be doing most of the talking because it makes them seem more interested, and it makes you seem like you don't care as much if you get the girl or not. Girls love to talk, so I'd end it right after "My sister wants to get her boyfriends name tattooed on her wrist. Should I be cool with that?"

Field test it, keep us posted. Good luck.

The big thing with opinion openers is you have to tell them the reason why you are asking...that is what really makes or breaks an opinion opener.

"Hey guys get this...Should my little sis tatoo her boyfriends name on her wrist? The reason why I ask is she's 19 and wants to know if I think she should do it. It seems like she's resting on my final approval here so on one hand I love tatoos they look awesome, I have one too, but that is something you should never regret."

You come in with the basic opener...then you give the reason which is juicy because she's 19 which at this point you should really start to see them hooking into your material. Just make sure you have more material to stack on top of this or stories to tell about your sister or whatever to keep going in set. Don't go in there with only this opener. :)
