Hi Guys, Went out again last night but still not clicking!!!! Tried shock and awe on the dance floor and it didn't go to well. Just didn't click. But I'd like to talk more about approaching....I would like to get better and I don't I know how. So I definitely have AA. But if you (you the person reading this) were next to me and said go talk to that girl I would. The problem is when I get there it gets weird and I don't know where it is breaking down. For instance, yesterday I tlaked to a girl at the bar: Me: Hey I just moved here. HB 7: Congratulations (being sarcastic making fun of me) Me: Ha! thanks. So where are the good neighborhoods to go out? HB 7: oh lets see U street is good Me: I went there it wasn't really my thing. (Take a moment not to sound too) forced. HB7: she starts to lose interest and move away slightly. I had a better conversation with her friend later:) but she saw and took her friend away. How do I get my hook in so I can build attraction, escalate, build comfort and close? I want to fucking do this. |

Sounds to me like you are investing too much with your body language. Dont forget to throw in the false time constraint, and after the hook point you can throw you body in the conversation and lock in. Dont lock in right from the start, very afc ;o I dont know if this is your problem but i think its pretty close |

Thanks! I think this is great advice. I def. lean in and when I get excited I do start to use my hands more and get a little too animated. excellent thank you. and it is something that I can work on and see results in general conversations. If anyone else has some ideas please let me know. |

If, like you say, you get excited, you may be talking too fast. That seems to be my problem as well. Talking fast makes them have to work more/, and makes you seem rushed; don't make them work so hard. Talk slower, and have more smooth movements as well. Try that, and see how it works. |
