"My friends and I were having this discussion, but I can only stay for a second...Which is most imporant having your friends approve of a guy or your parents approving for a guy?" "The reason, I ask is my friend recently went to his girlfriends hometown for the holidays and her friends like him but her parents not so much." Please help me criticize and critique. I'm going to use this this weekend as well in addition to my other opinion opener and we revise them a bit.

A lot more subtle, but nice. If she says her friends, I would say "wow, your parents don't mean anything to you?" If she says her parents, I would say "I would hate to be one of your friends." Turning my body out as I said that one. |
