Disclaimer: this is about a girl i met on fb.

So I meet this hb8 on facebook through a mutual friend. We joked and I teased her a bit. She said, " wow, we're so alike. you're like the female version of me." I replied, "thanks for that. i'd say the same for you but i don't know you well enough to compliment you that highly." Then she sent me a friend request.

We comment to each other periodically on different things over the course of about 6 months. She knows lots of people and every time she makes any kind of post on fb she gets 50 comments. Everybody just swarms on this girl and she will always get the last and final word on anything. Nobody ever gets in a neg that doesn't get smashed to bits by this girl. She is a killer. She loves to put guys down. I've seen her (just on fb) utterly destroy a guy who tried to be a smart ass. I can only assume she's the same way in person.

Anyway, after she was bitching again about stepping in dog shit, (it happens alot. her work requires her to walk alot) I sent her a picture of a drawing I just did of a dog in the process of shitting. 15 minutes later, she invited me to come to a party at her house because she said, "you're now cool enough to come to my house." I accepted her invitation but I didn't go. (my neg- stand her up for the way she invited me over.) So she invited me, much nicer this time, to her next party. It's her bday so there's going to be a ton of people there.

It will be the first time we meet in person. She's kinda attractive, but not what I call hot. Her looks are just, meh whatever. But, as a guy, I just feel like I must meet her and take my chances before her alter. Lol! Just kidding. But you know what I mean? Why do we find these girls so facinating? Don't answer that, answer this instead, How do you guys handle the Alpha Female? I know it's gonna be a night full of shit tests.

There's no such thing as an Alpha Female, primarily because the reasons why she "conquers" men is very different from why an Alpha Male conquers women. There's nothing inherently more attractive about her, you would fuck a perfect 10 over her any day, she's just appealing to you because

(a) your ego is seeking self-confirmation from someone it perceives as difficult to get it from
(b) She is a viable girl to fuck
(c) Women like that, while aggressive to put men down, also seek em out to test their mettle.

When you see an Alpha male "put down" a woman, it's not done in the aggressive and obnoxious manner that Alpha "females" do, it's far more subtle and their presence itself is dominant, not just their attitudes.

As for handling her shit tests, complete and utter amused mastery. A cool as fuck attitude that can't comprehend the idea of being put down by a woman. You'll want to watch out for her "approvals," like when she says "you're now cool enough to hang out at my house," because while it seems like a compliment, it is essentially her way of getting you to concede to her frame. You handled it well by making her re-invite you, just make sure you keep it up. The key is always consistency, men tend to let their guards down which is exactly when she'll throw a mega shit test at you, to more accurately gauge your congruency. She wants to know if you're REALLY the icy cold asshole who isn't phased by anything she says.

You're absolutely right about the ego seeking confirmation. I need to remember that I am always the most important and valuable person in the interaction. I have this default beta stance that I developed during my LTR. It's a very good insight you have and I will definitely work to get this squared away and resolved. It does go along with my main sticking point and you have just given me some valuable information.

If you do get past the initial meet and greets that she tests you, then you need to reverse it on her. Don't be afraid to let her go! Most HB cannot comprehend why you are willing to let her go so easily. Even if she has dudes beating her door down, she will want, no she will NEED to know whats so special about you! The hotter the girl, the more effective dumping them seems to work.

I don't have a problem letting her go. I plan on showing a lot of disinterest and "not give a fuck about her" attitude. I don't think she's that hot but she sure does and so do a lot of other people. If I can bring her into my frame then I should be good 2 go.

What I notice, may be wrong:

1. Shes not super hot you say but she has lots of friends and is willing to completely shut down assholes.Yeah do the whole "i don't give a fuck attitude" but don't be an asshole or mean to this girl. You need to be a more like "Way to be a jerk lol. You're absolutely brutual, pretty badass tho :)"
2. You haven't met her in person, BE nice to ALL her friends, even guy friends who are trying to hit on her too (i'm sure there will be others). People talk, and if they say oh whos that guy, hes friggin hilarious or awesome, she will notice.

But when shes there, you can PLAYFULLY tease her when shes around, like "So you guys known each other for a long time now? True or False, she's a trouble marker?" With a smile though and then look at her. "..haha i'm just kidddinggg...your friends seem to think very highly of you. We should have chilled earlier if I knew YOU were this cool" and then this is where you can set a date in the future to hang.
