| Post subject: | Is she interested in me? |
I'm not very good at picking up on signals from girls at all!! I just completely overlook them. There's a girl that works at my local supermarket/grocery store who I've caught looking at me a few times but whenever I turn to look at her she looks away. She won't hold eye contact for a split second! I've noticed this quite a few times when I've been in but I'm not sure if our eyes just happen to meet at the same time or if she is actually looking at me? (yeah I'm really not very good at this lol!) What signals should I be looking out for? She is a very attractive girl and I'd say she was about my age (18-21) and I'd be surprised if she was single, so it strikes me as odd that a girl as hot as her would be too shy to make eye contact, which leads me to think that she may not be looking at me and we are just catching each others eye. So what do you guys and girls think, is it likely she was checking me out or did our eyes just happen to awkwardly meet every time? What should happen now, I have no idea how to approach her or start a conversation with her. Tbh I don't really have the confidence to approach her either (yep typical shy guy) so should I just grow a pair and speak to her? What could I say? Thanks guys, any advice appreciated. |

Yes, she was checking you out. Buy something in her lane, ask a random market question, in a flirty way! |

Walk up to her and say: "Excuse me... I was on my way to grab a few groceries to cook a special dinner, and I need a woman's advice. Would you mind helping me?" |

The question above would be an ideal way to start talking to her! She works in the supermarket so it would not be weird at all for you to just start talking to her, and that question is quite open that it can lead on. As for her looking away when you look at her, i wouldnt say this was necessarily a negative thing. You just have to realise that girls are just human and they feel just as insecure as us! My advice would be to open her with a normal question and see how she reacts from the moment you approach her and during the conversation! If you sense a good vibe then its all systems go! Be/ act confident, this will make her feel more comfortable around her. If you fail to close the first time its not a big problem as the next time you see her you can talk to her again. Say if you did ask her for her advice you can tell her how it went! |

Haha this sounds quite good actually!! Seems like a well suited question seeing as it's food related. Probably wouldn't phrase it as a special dinner incase she thinks it's for a girlfriend tho lol! Thanks for your help |

Yeah that's the main thing that's worrying me about this, whether she looks away because she is shy and doesn't want eye contact, or if she is looking away because she really isn't interested and she doesn't want to lead me on!! She certainly doesn't look the shy type anyway so idk. I'll try again to keep eye contact with her again the next time but it's damn near impossible, it's like as soon as my head begins to turn towards her slightly she turns the other way!!! And I always get that "being watched" feeling when I'm near her lol!!If you fail to close the first time its not a big problem as the next time you see her you can talk to her again. Say if you did ask her for her advice you can tell her how it went! Also I don't have a problem talking to people a second time, it's just the first time I feel awkward whilst trying to break the ice lol! Thanks for your reply Keep the ideas/opinions coming guys!! |

Heywood Jablowme got it right on the dot and gave you an awesome advice brother. However, please let me ramble on eye signals. Writing about concepts make me remember these better than just reading about them. She is a very attractive girl and I'd say she was about my age (18-21) and I'd be surprised if she was single, so it strikes me as odd that a girl as hot as her would be too shy to make eye contact, which leads me to think that she may not be looking at me and we are just catching each others eye. So what do you guys and girls think, is it likely she was checking me out or did our eyes just happen to awkwardly meet every time?... 1. When a girl looks at you and then looks away when you catch her looking is a very good indicator of her attraction to your physical looks. However, your good looks is not an assurance that you'll get this girl as a girlfriend. You will still be qualified based on your personality. You either pass or fail this qualification stage of the courtship process. 2. The reason why she can't look at you straight is that she feels intense emotions while looking at you. Girls can squeal out loud when feeling too much positive emotions and she's afraid she might reveal her attraction to your goodlooks. Just look at little girls at the park or at a McDonald's playpen and they'll squeal whenever they're too excited. 3. Whenever a girl looks down while you're looking at her eyes, she actually feels that you're a dominant man. Dominance (not a domineering attitude) sexually attracts women. Observe your shy girl on how she looks at other men. You'll discover that she only looks at you that way but with other men, she can maintain her gaze for prolonged periods with ease. That's how you can gauge also if a woman is the type who'll remain loyal and faithful to his boyfriend. There you go brother. |

Insert (for my mom) and actually plan a meal for your mother, you will be perfectly comfortable asking. She will melt! Or as is, she thinks other girls want you to make dinner for them. Win, Win! Hope this helps Bro |

Thanks for the info, it all makes sense to me. I guess I'll just need to grow a pair and talk to her. I still find it strange that she is a shy one though as she is gorgeous, and the way she does her hair/make up shows that she knows how hot she is. Nothing ventured nothing gained tho I suppose. Thanks for your advice, much appreciated 2. The reason why she can't look at you straight is that she feels intense emotions while looking at you. They will also look away if they did not like your looks... Or they may keep eye contact if she likes your looks. |

So how do you know if they look away because they like you or if they don't like your looks? Girls are confusing lol!

However, when a girl manages to make prolonged eye contacts with you, watch for the unmistakable twinkle of love or look at her pupils if these grow big. Try to look at the eyes of a cat. Its dark slit grows big into a circle when you pet it and the cat purrs. A girl who likes you will have eyes that will behave the same way. |
