Post subject:  drive-thru pickup

I was wondering if anybody could give me some advice on opening a girl at a drive thru? I don't have much time to start a conversation. Any advice?

Essentially, she'll be starting the conversation wit you. Your job then is only to look at her in the eyes (smile with your eyes as they say), make her laugh and exchange number. You probably won't kiss her right there and then though.

Doesn't asking for her number out of the blue after having no conversation seen kind of desperate?

That's your job: don't ask her "out of the blue", work your way within five or ten minutes to make it obvious she should give you her number.

Also, never ask for a girl's number. "We get along quite well. Let's meet up after your shift and grab a drink. Write down your number on the napkin. See you later."
Note that she is working, so it might be a company policy not to talk too much with customers.

Also, if at first she refuses to give her number, just ignore completely the refusal and bounce over it. No pouting!

When you pay (if it's at the same window), pay by card, takes longer than cash and gives you more time. Good Luck.

If you come across as desperate, yes, it will seem that way also.

If you escelate the set quickly and methodically within that quick timeframe - go for the number close. 3-second rule applies, regardless of where you're at.

Won't work. Especially if it's a busy food joint like mcdonald's or innout burger. Usually when you order, you speak through the menu box and it might not be the same person when you pull up to pay. Every place that has a drive thru involves every employee wearing a headset. One person is communicating with you, but everyone else is listening. If you bombard her with stupid questions about what to get, you're just putting pressure on her. Your best bet is to smile and hold eye contact when you grab your grub. At where I work, 75% of the customers don't say anything not even a thank you- they just want their food and get the hell out of there.

it has worked. i field tested it lol. also applied the same frame to waitresses with a few tweaks. number closed a dozen times. you display confidence, value by the car and what you're wearing, you get her to invest a little, with a waitress you can even do a cold read. just smiling wont get you the girl's number

I feel like you'd have to be ordering from the same person you pick up from for it to work, but otherwise it's a good routine. It's not original, it's from The Game...I think originally used at Jamba juice? If you haven't read the details of that story you should
