When I go to clubs and bars I always see them there... the AFCs who are built, tan, but always end up leaving with their male friends, or some drunk last resort girl. Never with an actually decent looking chick. If they are smart, they read up on forums and learned a few cocky, funny pick up words to use on women. They strut their stuff and it seems all good on paper...and yes it does work on some average looking women... but why never the really attractive ones? Well, the answer is because in truth, despite what is being taught in the courses you are buying, being a big bad alpha guy doesn't work on all women. Especially the intellegent attractive types. Why?? Well, because women love turning down guys that come across as being too confident or being full of themselves. They love leading men on, then right when he thinks he has got this one in the bag.... they run off. The rush of power she gets from turning down a guy who she believes is all into himself is just too good not to do! Now, I am not saying being confident is wrong because you certainly need it if you are ever going to talk to woman and get a date, but acting tough and cocky ESPECIALLY at bars and clubs these days, is going to hurt your chances with the hot women. What should you do instead? Well, stop following the crap that is being put out there and stop pretending to be some sort of 'don juan' when you are out. There are a lot of things you can do instead. One of the easiest is try focusing on enjoying yourself and have fun when you are there. Trust me, women there will see it and pick up on your vibe. Concentrate on having fun with her and getting to know her. Stop worrying about the neg hits and confidence and NEVER just stand around looking 'cool', scouting your next target. There are different personality types of women out there... not all of them want another 'alpha male'...especialy if she has a brain. Trust me on this one. |

not exactly.. unless being yourself has the power to trigger emotional feelings in a woman naturally. I am just saying in this post alone that there is a lot of emphasis being put on how big a tough stud is the way to go with women. Yes this works, but you need to have other techniques you can draw from within to trigger feelings in all types of women. |

What? I've never heard any pua say to be a "big tough stud". Cocky funny is just when you say the "cocky" stuff, you play off as a joke.I am just saying in this post alone that there is a lot of emphasis being put on how big a tough stud is the way to go with women. Yes this works, but you need to have other techniques you can draw from within to trigger feelings in all types of women. Example: She say's "I just got a new couch" you say "Oh god, i see what your doing. Look we just met, i'm not going to go back and fuck you on your couch". Your acting overly confident, but its obvious its a joke. If you come in too hot with your opener and are too cocky, then yea, your gonna get blown out, and the she'll enjoy it. UNLESS you plow through it, and are able to make her laugh. Then more than likely she'll put down her bitch shield, and your in. |

I think your confusing "cocky funny" with being an "arrogant prick." True cocky funny is a subtle art. I've found that not everyone can pull off cocky funny. People either use it too much (gets annoying to the girl), don't incorporate the "funny" (thus, they appear arrogant) or cocky funny just isn't congruent with their personality/frame. When used right, it's money. Also, I typically never use "cocky funny" as an opener either (unless its a situational opener). Here's an example of some cocky funny I used to defuse a shit test on an HB8 (who's also a good friend). HB8: So, (my name) how many ugly chicks are you going to make out with tonight? ME: Well, I'm gonna make out with you first -- so you'll be ugly chick #1 of the night. HB8: (huge grin across her face) b/c I owned her shit test, and thus, it made me more attractive to her. They key here was that I was cocky by telling her we would make out then it's funny b/c I'm admitting to making out with ugly girls (even though the HB8 is very cute). |

The 1 thing I found is that true cockiness, unless your someone famous or with a great deal of wealth, only goes so far. The girls KNOW your strong, WILL LEARN your smart, WILL LEARN your funny. Let them find out your strength, as displaying it verbally only make it say "I'm not very confident in myself and this thing I have/do is the only thing going for me." Personally, anti-cocky is great for me. How many romance movies have you seen where the guy is trying to be all great, yet mess up, YET makes the girl attracted because of that flaw? Like you COULD say how smooth you are, saying that you have this and that, but pretend you didn't notice there was a railing, fall down (practice so you won't break something), and just say "Oh I ment to do that!". Done it last week, worked like a charm. |

You realize women and idiots write these movies for the enjoyment of women and idiots. I do agree that there are tons of personas you can have that women are atrracted to.
