I try to go out everyday during the day but I live 30 minutes (driving) away from town. I usually go out during the day at least 2 to 3 times a week and I find myself going back into the same old habits of Approach Anxiety. Do you need to be consistent in order to get over your Approach Anxiety because so far It hasn't been working for me? |

Practice as much as you can, on everyone the old lady buying groceries in the store, the girl behind the checkout fun short interactions of a few seconds or so. Then end them, open girls you're not attracted to just to get the experience look up David Wygant's stuff on Youtube he's really good with the attitude you should adopt |

I'm not gonna lie, i have been practicing the game for 3 years and i still have approach anxiety...it's natural. However, practicing makes a huge impact (you can keep the anxiety under control). My advice to you, just approach as much as you can...Don't think about the anxiety just let it go and let your game talk Jay D |

Newbie missions are supposed to break down most of your anxiety by proving to you that talking to people is FUN not BAD. Talk to everyone. Don't just sarge. Say "hey" to your neighbors, make small talk at work and warm up by saying the first thing that comes to your mind to the first person that you see WHEREVER you are. I,too, live a nice drive from my favorite sarging location. Staying consistent is important, though. I usually try to get down there at least once a week. |

Atom and Jay dog are pretty much on point. Practice doesnt always make perfect, but in this case it makes better. See short interactions with people (Doesnt matter if its a HB10 or the guy that mops the floor in the mall,or the Varsity lunch lady) will help you infield. Now your prolly thinking "uh.. Dude hows chatting to an old lady gona help me with a HB?" Its like this the more you get use to approaching strangers (cold approaches) the less your AA will get.. You must also be comfortable in your own skin, comfortable with yourself.. Lol before i go to clubs or in the morning before class i do Styles Newbie challenge, just to get me up in a conversating mood, and believe you me,IT WORKS! like somebody on here said "An approach a day, keeps the Guru away" |
