Went up to 3 girls and gave them this opener, worked 3/3 times with number closes.

"Hey, I was having this conversation with a buddy of mine regarding how females like to be approached. Lets say you're in a bar and a guy approaches you...Would you rather him "shoot the shit" and come across as very nice, asking you a lot of questions etc, or would you rather him approach you in a slightly overconfident more cocky manor and get straight to the chase...Maybe put an arm around you" (put arm around her, kino)

You can modify this however you like, but it worked very well with me.

Thoughts?

Well when i'm talking about the guy who shoots the shit, i'll deliver that part in a funny tone (exaggerate how nice he is) and then for the more alpha guy, I'll actually get serious and into that type of guys role. I think this opener works really well because depending on her answer, it will dictate how you interact with her. If she prefers the nicer guy, i'll go into talking about similar interests, environment, etc, but if she prefers the macho guy, i'll resort to a lot of pushing and shoving kind of kino/cut straight to the chase.

I don't like it, personally. It's as if it was indirect, but it's actually quite obvious, and it's also too long of a sentence. Kinda weird. But hey, if it works for you, grats.
