Ok pretty new to this so bare with me! Basically theres a checkout girl / shop asistant in the local express supermarket. It would seem she gives me the eye, and i wanna hit on her. All i do currently is smile back and awquerdly nod my head or some bullshit, obviously not good. Basically wondered best way to go about this, normally shes on the till and theres a bit of a cue so theres only as much small talk as time taken to checkout your stuff. I was thinking of just handing her my number and saying "you might want this" or "hey call me sometime" or if i bottled it almost completely, just leaving it there so she retrieves it. Though ive heard this isnt the best strategy! Any help pointers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance |

One thing you need with a girl is time. You don't have it in the supermarket when she has ques of people to deal with. If you are getting solid IOIs from her you can go to checkout with what you are buying and do what you said by going "You might want this" hand her your number with a wink. This will work but ONLY if you know she is interested. What IOIs has she given you so far? |

Basically just seems to shoot a few smiles my way, holds eye contact longer than normal, though to be honest nothing more than alot of girls who have that generally flirty persona so its hard to tell. She didnt really seem to smile at the guy in front of me when she served him, so in relative terms seemed to react a bit better towards me. However was it just the fact i started by saying hey, hows it, etc, and he probably just dumped his crap there and waited who knows. The guy in front was also asked for ID for boose, and he looked the same age if not older, she didnt ask me? Though im probably just over analysing that haha. Could be good or bad either way. She sometimes seems to be on the shop floor just stacking stuff etc, thats how i first though she may have given some IOI's due to her walking past, and smiling a fair bit. So this may be an easier angle i suppose. I dont really feel IOI's are probably significant enough to confidently number drop with confidence at this stage, though have always been more of the mentality of she makes a decision within 5 secs of seeing you, so its worth a punt maybe as her minds set regardless. I suppose plan B, is more of a long game of chatting shit to her when im in there, and building some sort of rapport with her, though seems a bit kop-out to me. cheers for the reply anyhow pal |
