Post subject:  Is this a good opener for college/day game?
Hey guys,
I am recently using a new opener which has been working for me almost all of the time(almost no rejection.) What I do is look at the HB I want to approach and say :
"Excuse me , have a question, do you have Irish, German( if she is blond) / spanish,italian (if she has dark hair and eyes) back ground by chance? (it really doesn’t matter what I say)
Either they say yes or no , I'll say : "you look like one my friend. I know her for a long time. She is from ***.You remind me of her.... That's crazy."
After that I introduce myself and ask where she is from if I was wrong.
Well, I am not American and have accent. Also, I am good looking. I don't know if it's because of my look or because the opener is good enough that works for me. The opener seems indirect and kinda safe. It seems I am not hitting on her. (This is what I think though ;))
I made it for night game and probably it has some flaws. I want to use it for day game especially college game.
What do you think of this opener? Can you make it better especially for day/college game?

Secret to day game is situational openers, it will seem as if you`re just asking them a question rather than you trying to hit on them by gaming them with night routines. So you`re opener just seems like you`re asking a survey or trying to hit on her. So I`m going have to say no for your opener.

i think this opener is very good, in fact i was planning to use something like that since i have a lot of overboard friends.

one time a girl actually opened me like that one time, at that time i was still an afc

I am a college guy myself and i use situation openers, Or environmental openers.

If i see a 9 walking pass i stop her and ask " Do you know where admissions is? Im a new student here"

And then from there you can ask does she like the school, and ect.

ususally at school or any environment that peopl are walking and is not a "chill" environment it is difficult to use canned openers.

You can be spontaneous and do it. I have before and got good results.

It takes more balls though. But if you do stop some one and use a canned opener, make sure you ask them are they in a rush?

If they say no and smile then your in, if they say yeah, just say will i have a quick question, where is "blah blah blah hall" or something.

BTW you can meet some of the HOTTEST girls studying in the library. =)

It's not bad but it's not good either. In my view the
conversation would run dry very fast if you don't
transition onto a better topic from there. Also,
there is only so much you can ask a girl
about her heritage/background before
she becomes bored because the last
thing she wants his a history
lesson.

I would improve the opener by making
it more spontaneous and interesting.
If she does by some chance say
that she does happen to be
German...what then? You'll
probably just carry on with the routine cause
you don't give a toss about the answer. If she is
German for example you can reply with
"Ah...vertalen kun je veel van de Duits spreken Duits? :)"
(that means, can you speak German well?)
and then she'll be reply with "Ja dankie u
voor het vragen! Wat is je naam?? :o " That
means (yes thank you for asking!
what is your name?)

That's how I do it. I revise a small sentence in either
German, Spanish, Greek or even Russian if I do come
across a girl from that part of the world. If she is of one of
those descents and
I have a brief interaction with her in that
tongue language it will raise my value so
she can invest more in me. It's a small
bait of time to invest in learning
small dabs of languages for
further interactions with
hot Europeans.

It's not a bad opener but I think you're mainly running on your looks and accent. The power and success of this opener is from it's none threatening gesture. You're clearly foreign and your just starting conversation. I get the sense your mental subtext is something like "hi I'm new and I would like to talk with you. So I'll ask this innocent question." I think you'll do great on opening with this but it won't be easy for a transition into A2. I recommend checking out Social Circle Mastery by braddock if your looking to master college game. Chai: your idea of learning new language is awesome. It makes the conversation much more fun.I am going to do that.
gointothetop: YOU hit the spot ! It's way more pressure when you want to game girls in another language. Especially in day game. (BTW I didn't find any links)

In my university the ratio of girls to guys is crazy(3:1) Full of high quality girls having trouble finding guys. It’s just like heaven here. I have at most one more semester and I am pretty sure I’ll have much better result in university compared to club/bar . I am regretting that I’ve not approached girls in university enough. I can easily open sets at night. However ,it really takes more balls for me to do it in day game.
I’ve had real strong eye contacts from many 9/10 hb’s several times. Even, several times HBs have opened me(which I was not ready for the situation to take advantage of it.) My only weapon is my look and body. However, as you know guys you can’t go so far just by that.
Just a short story Actually I approached one of them in gym recently, my approach kinda turned in to hitting on her. However, she was totally fine with it and she was smiling to whole time and gave me IOI's.

At this point, I really don't mind to be rejected and Also I kind of like to subtly hit the 9/10 girls have eye contacted with them since I don't have a lot of time to act and game.
I had a GF for 6 months here and don't have problem to have a normal conversation. My biggest problem is the first 10 mins of conversation with new girls and make it interesting and spontaneous especially in cafeteria, and libarary...(which I think I can't be as spontaneous as I should be at this point.) So What I do now is learning new scripts and try to anticipate what she is going to say and learn what to answer beforehand.
Actually, the whole thing makes my English much better .
I've not found some many threads about foreign guys or something like it assuming there are not some many guys in my situation.
Any openers/ideas especially in places like cafeteria and any opinion/advise about the whole situation would be appreciated.
