between the head phones and hopping from machine to machine; what are some ways to open up at the gym? |

Not my favorite venue but the best approach I found is catching them on a machine and standing in front of them until they acknowledge you. Ask them "how many sets do you have left?" she answers, you tease, flirt, CNF a little with some canned gym related material , gauge her response then your off. |

simple. I like it! any ideas on a treadmill? If it is relativity empty in the gym and she is the only one on the treadmills, would hopping on the one right next to her be seen as creepy? |

treadmill and bike is harder. Hoping on the one next to her is doable, ive done it, but the harder part is talking to her while shes running, that's going to be weird. I would hop and then talk when shes done or before she starts. A better idea is to take a machine behind her then when she hops off ask her a question about some settings on the treadmill or some nonsense. |

I used this once and it worked... I hoped onto the treadmill at the side of her , got her attention and then said. " Hey do you every feel like our getting know were on here, i mean i have been running for 10 mins now and i am still no closer to the shop... Im starting to feel like a dog chasing tail" She laughed and then stacked forward from there. |

that's a good opener Vision! Wouldn't that be a hard one to stack forward from assuming the treadmill is running? |
