OK so I got lazy about doing any pickup the first 3 months of school because I was banging some chick from my lab this summer (which is good), but I dodged the relationship and now she is moving on. Now half from getting sex and half from continuous work on my previously hideous inner game (which is now only bad), my AA is diminished to the point where I can approach a stationary women at any location/venue What I am doing everytime is 1) Walk up 2) "hey, you look really pretty and I just had to come over and talk to you." 3) introduce/get her name 4) hand shake, looking in her eye 5) Ask her on what is basically a "date" for example, suggest she take a study break and come with me to get coffee, or if shes getting takeout at a resturant tell her she should sit down and have dinner with me. That sort of thing. It NEVER works. And I'm probably not coming off as real relaxed but I'm certainly not super anxious either. I have difficulty making random conversation - something that is probably only remedied by being more social and talking with friends (which I'm doing). I figure I need to start learning some lines. Can anyone recommend a resource with direct style pickup lines? |

It's alright to compliment women as openers but if you are going to do it be sincere and make it specific to the girl you just approached. Things like you look really pretty is kind of generic. You want to say something like..."I know this is completely random but I noticed your dress from across the room and thought you looked adorable in it...I'm xxxx and you are?" |

Is it OK to complement them on makeup, or is that too personal an item to complement on (e.g. I wouldn't complement them on their ass) Girls who look a little trashy because they're wearing tons of makeup drive me nuts. |

Hey, just curious about a few things..... How does the girl generally respond for the first few minutes after you approach, compliment her, and then introduce yourself and ask her name? .. do they generally seem friendly or do you sometimes get a 'cold shoulder' feeling? How long do you usually talk to them before you get to step 5 when you ask them out on a date? .. . and when you say it never works, what sort of response, excuses etc do they generally give you? I'm certainly no pick-up expert, that's why I'm here, but if I had to toss in my 2 cents I'd maybe try to talk to her a bit longer and develop a bit of rapport and get her interested/attracted to you a bit before asking her out .... as far as random convo goes, if it's at school, I'd maybe ask her what's she up to now, waiting for class/studying/waiting for the bus to go home etc.. .... or just make some random small talk about how her day is going and what she's been up to so far...... what classes she's taking, what course/major she's in, what area of the city she's from, etc, things like that .. .. others may have different types of suggestions, but that's some general stuff I'd probably talk about anyways. |

I think it's not a good idea to be so direct in places like university or restaurants, you may look needy. If you are in a party it's O.K but not in day game. During day it's better to escalate slowlier, you have to keep a conversation being natural and using some C.F., D.H.V, Negs... The first time you talk to a girl your aim has to be to get her facebook or number. After that, you can date and escalate more. |

ya i believe alphamale is right, i tend to go only direct game in bars or clubs. But in uni or street approach, i tend not to be too direct, just commenting on their clothes or bag she has. btw whats C.F? |
