Post subject:  Direct game - your openers and stories
Wussup, everyone. Subject is direct game, your openers and stories. Also I just came up with a direct opener and wanted some opinions on it... here it is "Hi, I know this is random but I noticed you over there, thought you were cute and had to come talk to you. I never liked the idea of letting opportunity slip by. Hi my name is [Name]" and transition from there. If you're one of those people that say "Direct game should be spontaneous save it. Sometimes you need something to start the day "the sarge" with until you warm up and become better and comfortable with your approaches. Canned direct openers does not mean it's not direct.

you are missing the whole point of direct game,

it is not canned material, it is honest direct, and genuine,

you just express your intentions in an honest way

direct game does not mean being spontaneous. It means not hiding the fact that you are interested in her that you hide (initially) in direct game. So direct game can contain canned material. As long as it conveys your intention, its direct game

One of my favourite direct openers, mainly used when im drunk! However i think being drunk kinda helps with this one...

Usually after eye contact I say, "I know you probably hear this all the time, but you have the most amazing eyes" as I look her in the eyes with intent. At this point she will most likely smile, to which I say "wow & they sparkle when u smile too!" all the time holding her gaze. Then I will say something like "stop looking at me like that" or "Im gonna have to stay away from you". When she asks why I say "cus i could fall in love with those eyes; and that wouldn't be good!" when she asks why it wouldn't be good, I say somthing like "If you did something wrong all you'd have to do is look at me with those eyes and i'd forget about every thing, you would be able to wrap me around my little finger, I wouldnt be able to say no to you" then I transition if she hasn't already started kissing me.

Delivery is the most important thing in this opener (dont forget to body rock when you false disqualify) If done properly i.e the girl thinks you mean what you are saying. you will be able to esculate very quickly. I've personally had a lot of SNL's that started with this opener!

I'm new to the community and I found this opener to be very relaxed and casual :) Eyes are always an area of a women's form that you can enter into a peaceful trance just reading into them. When I go downtown this week and try out what I've learnt from the forum I will most definately use this because it seems very genuine.

Far be it from me to tell you not to use something that you have had success with in the past, but I think your approach is pretty over the top. Sure if you wanna be corny compliment a girl on her eyes, but what I think works best in direct game is humor. You need to get someone to stop what they're doing, and focus on you and making them laugh is a good start.

I also think that you are laboring the point about her eyes by talking about them over and over to the point where the HB could well be thinking "ok... You've made your point about my eyes, now what do you want, you're starting to be a little creepy". You're also saying that she could have you wrapped around her little finger which is a huge no no for me because you're putting an image of yourself in her head that you are an inferior.

Here is a direct game openers that I use that never fail to make someone laugh...

Me: "Excuse me, I think you dropped this" (holding up my wallet)
HB: "errrr.... No, that's not mine"
Me: "ok, you're right, you've got me... It's mine but I wanted you to stop so I could meet you, Hi... I'm Okies!"
HB: (smiling) "Hi I'm HB"

Yes this opener is corny, that's why it's all about the delivery. You have to look at her like you're mesmorised and have never seen such beauty before! thats probably why it normally works best for me when im drunk lol.

The false disqualification takes the creepyness away, after I say I'm gonna have to stay away from you, I body rock / start to walk away, and 9/10 times they grab me and pull me back to ask why.

The part about her being able to wrap me around her little finger is the humour! With my delivery, and frame, it doesn't come across inferior at all. Actually it does the opposite. Without saying, it conveys that im an alpha who likes to wear the tousers, and dosn't take any shit from my gf, at the same time showing a hint of vuneralbility as far as she's concerned. This is the point where I usually get the doggy dinner bowl look from her, and quite a few times a kiss close! Either way I transition straight into qualification after this. Thus re-enforcing my high value frame as a guy who isn't only interested in looks.

I guess we'd just have to agree to disagree on this one, however if you find yourself in a club one night getting eye contact from a hb, and u want an opener with high sexually energy that allows you to raise kino very quickly. Give it a try, or your own variation of it. I'll give your wallet one a go and let you know how it goes

Commenting on eyes, hair, smile etc. seems to be pretty weak when opening, and rarely works well in my opinion. You must have some sort of gift if that is working time after time for you, because I can't see how many people could have the right delivery with such cheesy lines and such. But, if it does honestly work for you, fair play to you my friend! :)

I personally love opening say a 2 or 3-set, using, either Richard La Ruina's or Mystery's(can't remember which) "opinion opener." I read it in one of their books, and sort of expanded on it to say something along the lines of "Excuse me, ladies... I've been doing a survey recently, and would love your opinions on something...." then ask the question.

Don't know if any of you have used this before, but I'd say eight times out of ten, it's working a treat for me :)

I'd just like to say that this is not the only direct opener in my arsenal, I have many different one's that I use depending on the situation and my mood. Yes I have and continue to use opinion openers & yes they work really well too! However if a girl has already given you eye contact and there is clearly some sort of chemistry between you, then it is the opinion opener that seems weak, it comes across as a lack of confidence. Definately doesn't make you seem like a go getter!

I bascally posted that opener in response to the orignal thread, because it is a tried and tested opener/routine, that I have had sucess with, and isn't in any book because I made it up! (apart from they sparkle when you smile bit) and I thought i would share it with my fellow PUA's
