I realize I post a bunch of different girls but I feel like I'm getting more experience the more girls I post about. So here's a new girl. She's in one of my classes. One day I decided to sit next to her. During class I passed her a note asking for her name. Then we just got to know each other. I'm not sure if she's single or not. But I feel like every time we came close to something where she could have said she had a boyfriend, she didn't. So I think she's single. I managed to get her number when she was texting and I brought out my phone and waved it at her. She looked at me like what??? Then I passed a note saying "How am I supposed to contact you to study with us when I don't have your number?" And then she wrote her number down. My question is, how do I progress from here? |

My advice: Now that you have her number, you've won half the battle. She obviously likes you enough to give you her number, so that means she likes you enough to hang out with you (why would she give you her number if she didn't expect you to use it?). If I were you, I'd invite her to a coffee shop to "study" or "do homework". One on one, just you and her. Coffee is a good way to get the energy flowing, and hardly anyone in school is a stranger to a good coffee shop. Now, if she brings a friend, that's probably a bad sign (not always bad, but it complicates things a bit), but if she comes alone, all systems go. Let's assume she comes alone. Once you meet up at the coffee shop, give her a hug as soon as you see her and pick a spot to sit down (YOU pick the spot). If she doesn't drink coffee much, suggest a drink for her. Otherwise, don't worry about it. I'd try and get a different type of coffee than she does (different flavor, different style, etc.). This way, if you're lucky, you can mention how great yours tastes, and she may ask for a sip, just to try it (this would be a GREAT sign that she is interested). If not, don't sweat it. Try not to do this "study date" too late. This way, you may be able to leave and get a bite to eat with her before you part ways. If you do this successfully, you can turn the "study date" into an actual "date", opening the possibility of a kiss-close. Good luck! |

..let me guess this straight- you're in college and you still pass notes? I'm surprised you got a number instead of thinking you don't have the balls to talk to her face to face. |

There's not really any tests coming up and not even any homework. It's just a lecture based class. Not really any studying to be had... We sit in the front seat of a 45 student room so it's not hard for the teacher to hear us. That's why I pass notes. |
