ok first i would explain a short method that can solve this problem before it starts. Here it is instead of following the traditional opening style, "opening by the ugly girl" go for friendliness. Observe the set for a minute or two, notice the girl who looks the most friends and then go open that girl first. It would surely help you a lot. A second way out is if you are not well received by a girl in set, start talking to someone else and work your way back in. It's a bit harder but defintely worth giving a try. Lets discuss one more technique and i would try to give some inner game advice too regarding the situation let's say you use a club opener and it may happen that you are not well received. Personally i like to do something that sinn calls 'self-commentry' and it's basically where you acknowledge whats happening, just like a director. So for example if i use an opener where i am going to ask them if they are going to be fun and they say "no". I will say, "ok lets try this one more time". And i will actually walk away and do it again. People get into trouble when they start qualifying themselves, when they start trying to explain or control their images. Whereas if you take things to a more absurd degree, a lot of times people are not going to be mentally sharp and that's when you keep up so they just kind of laugh and go with it. the worst thing that you can do when you are not getting a good reaction is acknowledging it without making it funny, "wow! That was totally bad". and i redo it and now i am certifiying it and it's funny. What you dont want to do is start apologizing or start acting like you are trying something and i didnt work. If you are going to go down you want to go down confidently and act like you think you are entertaining because atleast then you have a chance to turn it around. If you start to show that their reaction shook you and that now you are kind of unsure of what you are doing, thats when u get in trouble. I hope that helps many of you |
