So I'm walking down the street and see all of these HB's and right away I want to talk to them, but like 90% of the time they are on their own. Now my question is, should you approach them when they are alone so you can have one on one time or when they're with their friends? Really I'm trying to say when is the best time to approach them. There is more then likely a post on this so I will keep looking or if someone can post here then it's gratefully helped. |

It's up to you, it depends on how good you are at day-game. I would suggest, to try to approach single woman, because she can't get influenced by her friends or she won't raise her bitch-shield so easy. After you have some experience and feel comfortable about this, you can start to approach groups. To elaborate on what 'idomiralin' is saying that you will not have to deal with obstacles if you approach alone. But yet again may I stress that the true HB9-10's are going to be hard work. Especially in the situation you described to me. Even if you are brilliant at day game, hooking a HB 10 while walking by is going to be hard-work. If I were you, I'd start with maybe 5-6's and work your way up from there. I know that you go to college (because you're on the same course as me and you're my cousin. Lol.) so why not improve general college game first before approaching 9's and 10's. There are plenty of 5's and 6's around that you can practise on. ***EDIT**** More to come - Trying to reply without my college tutor seeing that I'm not doing my course work. ;] |

I disagree. I have found group approaches to be easier if you do them right. You can neg the target and DHV from the group. With single sets it becomes likely she will leave you if you neg her and seems even stranger since you have to then DHV to her, the combo becomes awkward. You look very alpha approaching a group too. If you can win over the group the target will open herself up to you. If you only approach single sets you will find it harder to find sets, it is a limit on who you can approach. So approach either way, then you will get more approaches and have a wide scenario of experiences. That will be much more helpful in the long run, since you may want to talk to a target in a large set or on her own. As for bitch shields, yes their friends can influence her away from you, or towards you, but she will instantly raise her bitch shields to any stranger that tries to talk to her when she is alone, it's just natural instinct, you could be anyone and you are definately interested in her for a reason. They will likely assume it's sexual unless you provide a good alibi. Dealing with obstacles is a simple matter of winning them over. That should already be accomplished when you DHV to them. |

I also think that by approaching more group situations can be great practice and confidence boosting. But of course when you approach a group that includes one special target, DO NOT focus exclusively on the target - get eye contact from all of the group and as the above poster mentioned it is very alpha of you to do something as confident as getting in with a group of people and hey, maybe even making some good new friends out of this. Depending on the situation, approaching a girl on her own or in a group works just as well either way regardless of whether she is HB5 or HB10. |
