Post subject:  Wallgreens girl
There's a wallgreens that I visit about four times a week, it's on the way home from school/work.

I went in last tuesday to buy some beer after class. The counter girl had a really ghetto bandage on her wrist. I said to her

me: sweet bandage
her: (smiles) i had to take it off the old one it was dirty
me: what happened?
her: i was running and slipped
me: from the police?
her: (laughs) at work I had to run in the back and I slipped
i noticed an accent at this point
me: where are you from
her: I'm Puerto Rican & Philippino
as she said this they were about to close and the manager came up to lock the door so I kinda chocked and just said
me:buenos noches
her: laughed, and said "buenos noches"

I still go to the wallgreens on the reg but would really like to ask for her number just feel somewhat uncomfortable asking her for her number at her place of work? Does anyone have suggestions? Thank you.

No you should be fine asking for her number at work. It doesn't seem creepy to me. Next time you talk to her you could be like "hey i gotta get going now, we should we meet up sometime, whats your number?"

Dorf is on point there, but here is a little addition. All guys say do you want to hangout sometime, you have to be a little more appealing. When you get her number try saying something along the lines of a party going on that weekend and its going to be great then tell her she is welcome to come; if yes your in and if no then just playfully tease her about it and tell her that the alternative is her buying you lunch one day your free. Hey, nice comments, but in my humble opinion, I'd warn you about inviting her out this way. Inviting someone who doesn't know anything about you to a party might be a bit creepy for her. Who is this guy? What kind of party is that? Who's going to be in that party? Am I going to be alone there with a bunch of dudes? Is he a rapist? Is it a swingers' party?....You don't want these questions in her head.

Instead, you could say that you've seen her a couple of times, and that she seems fun, and there's a place called _____ that has the best drinks-coffee in town. Say that you've been there before and I'd like to go soon as long as it's with some good company. At the end ask her: "How does that sound...?" Trust me, 9 out of 10 girls will tell you it sounds good, by which you can assume she has said YES to going out with you. :)

i agree, i would ask her for something more simple, food, coffee or whatever. She would be uncomfortable telling a guy she will go to a party without those questions answered
