| Post subject: | What To Talk To Girls About At A Supermarket |
Ever wonder what to talk to girls about if you're about to approach them at a supermarket? Well, if not, it's something that should cross your mind from time to time. This is because many women daydream about meeting men at a supermarket. Yeah, I thought it was a little weird too when I first heard about this. But when I tried it out for myself, I was pleasantly surprised about the responsiveness I got from women. The first few times though, I had a little trouble thinking of what to talk to girls about. Then, I spent a full day roaming around a couple local supermarkets trying to come up as much stuff for what to talk to girls about as I could. I'll share some tips with you in a little bit. But first, why does meeting women at a supermarket work so well? Supermarkets have become one of my personal favorite places to meet women. Forget about bars and clubs—it's all about the element of surprise. For a bar or a club, women spend hours getting ready and go there expecting royal SPAM and expecting to get hit on. So unless you have the looks of Brad Pitt, expect to spend some time trying to break down through her barriers, including the bitch brigade that she brought with her. Supermarkets are almost the complete opposite of a bar or a club. You don't hear loud music, you don't see girls in skimpy outfits and stilettos, you don't have to pay or wait in line to get in, you don't have to go through a girl's friends just to get to her, and you don't have to look like a supermodel to strike up a conversation. In other words, supermarkets are the ideal environment for approaching girls because they don't expect it and you're coming in under the radar. But it gets better—if you know what to talk to girls about at a bar or a club, talking to a girl at a supermarket should be a walk in the park. So without further delay, here are some ideas for what to talk to girls about at a supermarket: 1. Commenting on an item that you are both looking at The best comments in this scenario are either fun or sarcastic. For example, if she is looking at a bottle of orange juice you can say "Go with no pulp. No one likes pulp in their OJ." Or if you're both looking at cookies tell her "Wait don't tell me. You are aaaa...chocolate chip kind of girl" Of course, smile when you're saying any of this to her to imply that you're just trying to have a good time. 2. Asking for a suggestion This is a very non threatening idea for what to talk to girls about at a supermarket and would be somewhat like an opinion opener, except it's not canned or contrived. Ask for her suggestion on the best way to cook something you're thinking about cooking, even if you know how to cook it on your own. If she looks like she's never been near the kitchen before, ask her for her suggestion on something simple, like a ham and cheese sandwich. If she looks like a health freak, ask her about nutrition facts. You can even ask for her preference on certain brands of food by asking "Hey which one do you usually get, Pillsbury or Betty Crocker?" After she offers her suggestion, thank her and escalate further from there. 3. Catching up to her when she leaves For this one, technically you're not still at a supermarket because you're outside. For this one, you also have to be a bit more direct and a bit more confident. But we all know that women love confidence. When you see a woman you're attracted to leaving the store, try your best to catch up to her. Not in a stalkerish kind of way, but in a "if I don't do this, I'm going to regret it for the rest of my life" kind of way. The closer to the store, the better. When you catch her, tell her, "Hey this might sound a little crazy, but I noticed you in the supermarket there and you stopped me dead in my shoes. If I didn't come say hi I know I would regret it for the rest of my life. So help me out here by giving me your name because I had to leave my shopping cart all alone back there in the store and If I'm gone for long, it's going to get kidnapped." One more thing—the best times to go to the supermarket to do your "shopping" is between 4:00-6:00 p.m. on weekdays. |
