| Post subject: | Day game has made women more guarded |
The original reason for doing daygame was that women were more approachable and had their guards down. Well news just in: Not any more.. I prefer an indirect approach in daygame and usually open by asking directions or a situational opener. I was living in upstate new york and had no problems with it. I recently moved to New york city and still follow the same approach. Even though I can start interactions and close often, I noticed something surprising. Many women wont acknowledge me. Many times they would simply walk past as they would behave in a bar or club. At first I thought they had music in their ears but no. They heard me asking for directions, rolled their eyes and walked away. Also even the ones who stop, are very reluctant to talk as if they know I am hitting on them. On the whole I found day game a lot harder in NYC. I can attribute this to only one factor. There are so many PUAs running around in NYC doing daygame that women here are constantly getting hit on. Earlier only naturals would hit on them. Now every guy who reads Pua is out during the day chasing tail. This has made them very guarded. Thus there is not much difference between day and night game now. Also its very embarrassing to get rejected during the day and others see it. Imagine going in with an indirect opener while 10 dudes watching and get rejected. And for those using direct openers, God help them. Cheers |

I doubt it's too many PUAs--it's the NYC attitude in play. In Peoria or wherever, Johny Depp, Tom Cruise (pick your name) walks by, "Is that? Oh my God... blah blah blah."Cheers In NYC one of these guys sits at the table next to her in the diner while she's reading the Sunday times, reaches over and tries to read the back of her paper. "Back off creep." I've actually seen this when I lived in NYC, girl said it to Bruce Springsteen at a diner in the Village. (Back in the 1980s). |

NYC is just that type of town. Always someone trying to sell you something, everyone's always in a hurry, beggars on the streets, distractions, traffic... try desperately to find someplace where people go to relax during the day. Also, going indirect and asking directions? You do realize there's SOO many tourists asking directions all the time, and if you stopped to help every last one of them there's no way you'd make it anywhere on time. Look at Sasha's Daygame stuff, find a location where people might have time to spare and don't be afraid to go more direct. |
