Post subject:  Girls who don't reply, but keep looking at your profile?

I never send more than 1 opener message. If they don't reply, that's that. However, I notice some girls in my OKC visitor list look at my profile several times for a few days after I've messaged them... My thoughts are:

Maybe they've just clicked on me randomly from a search. I think that's unlikely, bearing in mind the volume of guys out there, and considering we're talking about the period immediately after I've PMed them.

They're teasing. They want to see if they get a second bite just for an ego boost. They have no intention of replying.

They're undecided.

Anyone got any thoughts on this? My instinct says 'move on, forget about it', but I wanted opinions just to see if I'm missing a trick. Thanks in advance.

edit - thinking about it, there's never going to be fertile foundations for a relationship if she doesn't reply to the 1st message. If she does reply to the 2nd, even if you get a date, she probably isn't that keen, and at some point she'll just blow you out. I guess if you're amazingly charming, this isn't an issue; once you get the date, she'll be under your spell. But let's face it, if you're that good a PUA, why the fuck would you use a dating site anyway?

If a girl keeps on doing that I would send her a message something like:

"I don't bite you know"

or

"Didn't your mom tell you it's not nice to stare?"

or

"Your not stalking me are you?"

If she doesn't reply back then oh well.

I've noticed that too. I've even sent an "I don't bite" message and still no response. I figure it's either an ego boost or they accidentally click on you. I admit that I do that to girls I've decided not to respond to accidentally thinking they are someone else since sometimes the profile pic is obscure when it's a tiny thumbnail.

My friend suggested something I had never considered on this exact point: Maybe they are looking at your profile with one of their girlfriends. This makes total sense since girls are more interested in friends' perceptions than guys are.

This seems valid, but doesn't change my philosophy - which is yours - If there's no answer, it's all over. Quite simple.
