When this started I wasn't really attempting to pick her up or anything, but I added her because she was a solid HB8 or so and poked her to see what happened, I then regretted it so I decided a different approach, which worked rather well...

her: Haha no prob ! But I think I'll regard it if you dont mind :) so who is this?

me: Devin, player of drums and ladies, you mean you've never heard of me before?... weird

her: hahaahah i wish ! have you heard of me? :)

me: obviously, everyone is talking about how nice you are

her: hahaha really? what school do you go to?

me: Sacred, you could probably have found all this out from my info, but I guess the conversation is more fun.

her: hahaha agreed :) and I go to south ! what grade are you in?

This continued for a while and then i said I had to start working on a lab that was due the next morning, because I thought I should end the conversation before I said the wrong thing. She still talks to me and seems interested and everything, but i'm wondering if anyone has any ideas as to what I else I could have done? If not, i'm just happy to share this random success
