Ive been using match and okcupid for online dating, and it hasnt been working out so well. I take a lot of time to write out emails and girls will usually just read them and not even take a look at my profile. Can anyone give me some pointers on what to write? Not my forte... |

What sort of pictures do you have of yourself?? You should have pictuers of yourself with beautiful women. DHV's yourself. The e-mails you send of should not take a lot of time to write. Why spend so much time of someone you don't know. Writing long e-mails DLV's yourself. Shows neediness. Write a few sentences. Do not give your name. Make them all work for that. If your name is in your "Member name" take it out. Write: "Your profile is very interesting. I enjoy face time with people. E-mails are so informal and anti-personal. Haven't we become a people dependent on technoligy that avoids face time?? I'm going to "fill in the blank" this weekend it's in your area. Lets meet up before I go to "fill in the blank". Giving a false time frame will relax the anxiety she might feel, if you turn out to not be what she is looking for. This does the same for you too. She might be a bore and you might need an out. Be sure your profile picture is the best picture of you. Remember one or two with beautiful women. Do not look at the camera when smiling. No group pictures. Be sure you are having fun in your pictures. Your profile should be short and simple. Go on Match and read all the guy profiles. Read them all. Make a night of it. Take notes. Look at there pictures. Take more notes. Then when you feel you have all the knowledge to redo your profile. Do the complete opposite. And make your new, very different profile. Lucky sarging, Conan Ive been using match and okcupid for online dating, and it hasnt been working out so well. Thanks for the post. I have all kinds of pictures. Some with me and other chicks, and me doing cool stuff like skydiving and snowboarding, etc... My name is not in the profile, additionally, i like your idea of a shorter email. Why spend all that time? The only thing I'm not too keen on is asking for a meet up right on the spot. I feel like that is putting the ball in their court. I believe the idea is to keep it in mine. Im the one in control, etc. Thanks again. |

You are always in control. The worst thing she can say is no. Her loss. Move on and try again. By doing it differently from all the other guys you stand out, you must be different she'll think. I've noticed in the past with my experiences with online dating, you bounce back and forth with e-mail and by the time you meet you have little to talk about. Try it out on a few. Conan |
