I am messaging this HB8 on fb and I thought I was doing ok but the last response wasn't what I was expecting. I feel like I'm losing her already. Any tips?

(She chatted me and said "Hey, thanks for the add :)". I didn't get to it before she went offline so I resumed the conversation in a PM.

Lol I dont really know Im kinda trying to figure life out right now. Im really focused on school and my family means the world to me. I try to treat other people how I would like to be treated and I try to be understanding of others feelings and ideas. Mostly I try to give everyone a chance no matter how they look on the outside.

hey. I joined this site because I'm a lesbian and want to turn some bicurious girls, but men are obsessed with me. Thus I feel like I can help guys on here because I'm hit on by men all the time because they think I'm straight or bi so I know what annoys me.

I constantly have men on fb chat etc trying to start convos with me and I can tell you some stuff you're doing wrong. If that was me you had that convo with I would have stopped talking to you. First of all you said 'lol' too much. That made you seem unsure of yourself, like you had to keep reassuring her you are funny and scared of her taking anything the wrong way.

The worst things that guys do is try and make a joke out of everything. You try and have a serious convo and they keep saying 'lol' and trying to laugh things off. If you're both in a fun mood, yeah have a laugh. But if you lol to things when she's trying to be serious it's just annoying. If she has a problem, give her serious advice, don't think you can fix everything by making a joke of it.

The main thing you did wrong was that you sounded like you were interrogating her. You kept firing questions at her like she was in a job interview. One of your questions was like 'so what makes you different from all the other applicants to this job?' see what I mean? That would have pissed me off. She was probably thinking I don't have to justify my worth to this guy.

Oh that's great! He asked her that because some methods recommend it so she starts qualifying to him. I think it's good to do with exceptionally beautiful girls, but I also think a lot of it is in the delivery. So this being a chat, a lot gets lost. If you notice her answer, she actually started qualifying, so it worked perfectly. Otherwise I agree completely with your answer.

Another thing, Ethan. The last question you asked her was a total DLV. Did she message you because she doesn't judge people by looks? It shows insecurity, especially after she already complimented you on your looks.

I agree with you, it probably did come off as DLV, which I actually thought about before I sent it, but I was trying to make it into a joke. I was trying to come off as a fun/funny guy, but like samantha23 said earlier, I shouldn't have tried to make everything into a joke.
