Post subject:  How to respond to this nasty response from POF?
Ok so I used this opener with some success with girls on POF. However I just got a response I just did not expect at all. Initially I just wasn't going to respond but this just pisses me off. I have a knack for standing up for myself (hitting back) if someone starts a fight. I want to come up with a good come back that would DLV her as well. She's a HB8 blonde. Notice her lack of emoticons means she's serious most likely.

Me: Hey goofball! I can already tell we wouldn't get along, we're too similar, we both like to rock the **** out in life and the earth would probably explode if we hung out because of too much superpower in one place! You look like a big dork with a nice smile that loves to laugh :) you get 5 points for that, get 15 and you get a prize :) hit me back.

Her: Wow that is prob the sh1ttiest message ive ever received. You look like a big doofus with a retarded grin. Only 1 point for you. And I dont hit boys, you shouldnt hit girls

If I get negative messages I just go... that time of the month again eh? I love not being a chick ;)... then block them they creep your profile like 3-4x

then if I actually want to f them still i'll use a different account a month later with the same exact pictures and pretend I don't remember them, they always remember me but they're usually in a better mood.

Thanks guys, she's hot but not my type. I was just testing openers on a few hotties. But still, when I get a message like that no matter what girl its from(even if she's a cow), it makes me feel better if I throw something back even if she doesn't respond. I like the challenge as well, and for all you know maybe it's just a bitch shield.

I don't care if she doesn't respond, I just don't want to be the wuss to cave and not respond back. It's different if it's in person because it shows you have class if you just walk away but online its a little different, sometimes girls can be challenging or want the challenge.

Also I need to come up with good comebacks in case I get something like this from someone I actually would like to date and perhaps they are testing me with some major bitch shield.

Anyway I like the "that time of the month come back, I'll probably just use that and let it be unless she responds"

In my experience, every girl is different and not all of them will like or appreciate the negs and disqualifies. It has to be tailored to their personality types. Using negs and dis is more of a higher-probability shotgun approach.

What you said was a bit mean though. lol. Sounded like you just straight up insulted her, that's why she responded like that.

it might not be what it first seems....

her specific wording "big doofus etc" "1 point for you" implies she has bought into the game you started and has frankly 1 upped you at your own game. she's negged you well and good off your own material!

that's what's really unexpected. She obviously a lot cleverer than you expected. lack of emoticons is either calculated or perhaps she just doesn't use them. some people don't.

If she was really offended I think she'd either not reply or express it differently.
that response is a challenge.

I don't see any way to "win" by trying to continue the game with negs or responding directly to her message. you can't out do 1 point for you nor tackle the whole hitting thing without being defensive. This is a think laterally response. Some clever humour is probably the only way.you may have to indicate in some fashion that you know she played the game. it's not so much admitting defeat as moving the game to a different ballpark.

I can't think of any specifics tho. magicking humour out of nothing is not my thing.

Instead of getting mad show her you are that cocky and just win that shit... better yet twist it so you are on the same team working together.

Hey guys, thanks for all the responses. I just replied "....that time of the month eh? I'm glad I'm not a female" and left it at that. Got no response after a week, to be honest I totally forgot about her until I saw my own thread on here. Anyway I'll be posting a new thread now.

Dude, you don't need comebacks, you need better material to begin with. Superpower stuff is fine by itself, but WTF did you call her a "big dork" ? It's one thing to neg, it's another to say something completely stupid. That wasn't cocky and it wasn't funny. Admit that you boned it and just do better in the 1st place in the future. Have fun trying to salvage it, but if you worry about coming back from your own dumb stuff, you're just chasing your own tail.

Actually it was canned from the internet and apparently it had lots of success on myspace so I was just trying it on POF. It doesn't work that well on dating sites.

then give her -1point for spelling and grammar or being lame. then +1for 'TRYING'.

Your making her aware that you have some empathy with her which women love when a guy understands them and you're punishing her for being an ass (which is what she is trying to do with you. its a test.) But then rewarding her for trying is like saying 'yeah nice try but i'm better than you, but at least you replied so I like that. have a point.

Add something else here then as normal.

If you want to p*ss her off say.

me: "...that time of the month again eh? I love not being a female :) " like 2 weeks ago. She hasn't logged on since then so I doubt she probably even read it.

I like your comeback better, perhaps I should send it. I have nothing to loose, I have long forgotton about this women but I want to see if it's possible to make such a big come back from this huge blunder of mine.
