So, I sent this model a message on Okcupid. Her profile is this http://www.okcupid.com/profile/bebecnicole Message is this: SUBJECT: Teady MESSAGE: You spelled Teddy Bear wrong but still you sound like a interesting person. If she doesn't respond which she might but if she doesn't oh well. Not a big deal. However, if she does then I'll have to neg her a few times and use some C&F lines and create some tension. I think I negged her perfectly, what do you guys think? Any improvements? Thanks! |

Well, you've been on here longer than I Stealth7, but I don't think correcting her spelling is a good neg at all. I actually think it's a bit embarrassing for the girl, and makes you seem a bit nerdy (if it's in your first message). I'd done that a few times and never got any responses from a spelling neg. I mean... "You spelled Teddy Bear wrong but still you sound like a interesting person" - it's actually AN interesting, not A. See...it's not a good neg. With girls like this, I like to play "opposites." Basically, I start out with something about how they seem real level headed and like they know what they want. But how those are usually the people who have the biggest need for spontaneity and adventure. And then..."Would you say you're a bit of a thrill seeker, or are you always very level headed and straight forward." - That's my style of neg. I don't give her a choice in the answer...she doesn't want to sound boring. But she also then has to defend herself as being spontaneous...so you can really get a few conversations out of it. Good luck Stealth7! |
